Jeremy Irvine Design

A splendid experience start to finish, from our first meeting to the final invoice. I called Jeremy after a long-term tenant moved out of a rental property of mine in Venice. The market has changed dramatically since the last time I leased the place and it needed work. (Translation: now that Abbot Kinney is the "hippest street in America" I want to get top dollar rent.) Jeremy understood my constraints right away: upgrade the property to give it style and the amenities that stylish people expect, and do it quickly so I could lease the place ASAP. His ideas were awesome and practical, and uncompromisingly aesthetic. For example, the house is a 110 year old Craftsman bungalow that has been badly compromised by ignorant choices over the decades. Jeremy pointed out architectural features embraced them, restoring coherence that had been destroyed over the years. The whole process was great, Jeremy was super-efficient. He made a list and helped me prioritize. I've worked with designers several time before and, while the results have ranged from good to great, the process has not been pleasant. There was none of the condescending push-back that is common with architects and designers. Instead, Jeremy is a GREAT listener. (He'd make a great marriage counselor.) Another thing I noticed that was different from past experiences is how "holistic" Jeremy's approach is. Most designers seem to care about one thing: how it will look in photographs. In helping me set priorities, Jeremy actually encouraged me to reallocate some of the budget, taking away design dollars and spending them on fixing old plumbing that you don't see but will save a lot of money in future maintenance. Jeremy always provided options and seemed to view my time-and-budget limits as a challenge rather than a frustration. He has a zillion resources and doesn't hoard them like a secret recipe. A splendid experience all around.

We recently purchased our first home. The blank walls and empty rooms were daunting. Jeremy helped us to make sense of the space and fill it in a way to fit our comfort and style. His patience and creativity made the process much easier. Still a stressful time, I couldn't imagine not having him there to guide us.

Jeremy Irvine embodies what it is to be a creative thinker and influencial designer. Jeremy listens to what the "ask" of the client is and takes it to the next level. My partner and I have been working with Jeremy for over a year now and he really gets our aesthetic and what we want in our home. It's amazing how he is able to take even the smallest details and have them make an impact. I would higly recommend Jeremy for work. He gets it. You will always be in good hands with Jeremy.
