We highly recommend JKC Quality Construction - five stars! We hired JKC Quality Construction to remove the wall between our kitchen and our dining room (in our 1949-built small Cape Cod house). This project required relocating power outlets, working around heating and air conditioning duct systems built into the wall, filling in flooring where the wall had been, and re-doing both floor and ceiling borders/molding -- not to mention removing a thick old wall pressed against our fridge and oven that were made of who-knows-what materials in 1949 and caked with 70 years worth of paint. We contacted and hired JKC Quality Construction upon referral from our neighbor who had their (beautiful) kitchen remodeled by JKC Quality Construction a few years ago. This is our first home, and it is an older home, so we wanted someone we could trust would do the job right. We couldn't have been happier with the results. There is absolutely no evidence that a very thick old wall had been between our kitchen and dining rooms. The work Kevin did on the hardwood floors and the molding was so precise and was more than we ever imagined. He custom cut pieces of oak flooring to fit and blend perfectly with our existing older flooring. He also made sure everything was just right before he finished the project. We have young children, and Kevin was very accommodating to come when we were out of the house, even when we were out of town. When we returned, our house was always extremely tidy with no left over materials left behind. We plan to contact JKC Quality Construction for future projects, including a kitchen remodel that we plan in the next few years.

i had JKC do 2 jobs for me over the last 12 years. one was a full remodel of an 20 year old home which came out amazing, one of my friends bought that house from when I sold it. the second job Kevin did for me was a finished basement in a new house I built. My contracted builder wanted a ridiculous amount of money to finish the basement during construction of my house. Kevin's craftsmanship is like no other if seen in years. he is a master carpenter and his finish work is impeccable. I am in the tile and stone business so I know excellent work when i see it. the other thing about JKC is that you really don't even know they worked in your home that day because they clean up and leave the space they are working cleaned and organized.

You will not find a better contractor. He has exceptional attention to detail; is trustworthy, dependable, and skilled. Comes at the time he says and leaves your house better than he finds it.

We have used Kevin for a number of home improvement projects and he consistently delivers superior results. He is meticulous, thorough, and diligent. We would not hesitate to recommend him to our friends.

Kevin completed an extensive Master Bath renovation for my husband and myself. Kevin and his crew did a superior job. Kevin is meticulous with his workmanship, has super attention to details of the scope of the renovation and to the daily clean-up of the renovation site. JKC has done a few different projects for us. We call them first for any home improvement job we have. The team is professional, courteous, punctual and reliable. The quality of work is top notch. Kevin is a perfectionist. The job isn't done until he says it's right.

Kevin Cox of JKC Quality construction is the penultimate professional. Polite, respectful, meticulous, careful, honest, highly skilled and trustworthy. This is the second time we've hired JKC and we won't hire anyone else as long as they're in business. JKC finished our basement. Now they're remodeling our master bath and bedroom. Next up, our kitchen. I can't say enough good things about JKC and would recommend them to anybody, anytime.

We have used JKC for 5 projects thus far. They have repaired a leak in our basement, remodeled our kitchen, built our deck, framed a new door, and built a saltbox shed. Each project has turned out better than we had planned. This is because Kevin knows what he is doing and can suggest value added modifications that will improve your satisfaction with the project. They were able to remodel our kitchen the way we wanted even though two other contractors said it couldn't be done. They built our deck beyond our expectations. They installed our door with new design features that enhanced its look. They built, what I think, is the best looking shed in Montgomery County. I cannot recommend JKC more highly. We just had JKC replace rotten board and batten siding (July 2017) the house has never looked better. And now we are confident that the replaced siding will be good for another 15 years.

We hired JKC Quality Construction to replace our front entry way. Kevin and his team are polite and professional. The prices were fair and the work was top notch. Kevin is very meticulous and treats your home as if it was his own. The project came in on budget and on time. I will definitely use JKC Quality Construction for additional projects in the future.

We hired JKC for numerous home improvement and repair jobs. Without exception their work is top notch! They are highly responsive, always on time, and cost estimates are spot-on. As if that is not enough, JKC does meticulous, skillful work. They are polite, respectful, always pleasant, and always clean up after themselves. Cannot say enough about JKC -- fantastic company! We moved away in 2013 and one of the things we were sad to leave behind was JKC.

We have been very pleased with JKC Quality Construction. They have done quite a bit of work for us, including: the kitchen and two bathrooms renovations, bookcases in a study, and much more. Our small home was built in 1927 - we have plaster walls and nothing . . . .absolutely nothing is straight. Kevin Cox was able to find solutions that fit our space and budget. After so many projects, we really trust his expertise but the quality of his work, attention to detail as well as his ability to take care of any problems are the real reasons why we’ve used him to renovate so much of our home. I should also mention that Kevin and his team are polite, extremely clean and conscientious. He also follows through and finishes his projects before moving on to another project. We very much liked working with JKC Quality Construction and would definitely hire them again.
