Jessica was amazing to work with! She did an incredible job taking my wife’s desire for a modern look and my vision for an old Irish pub and somehow marrying the two together perfectly. The end result feels unique and exactly like what we hoped for. She was extremely responsive, communicative, and transparent through every step of the process, which made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We worked with Jessica Cook to design our full remodel of two bathrooms and our primary bedroom. We could not be happier with the results! Jessica took the time to understand how we use our spaces and made recommendations regarding layout and design that we never would have imagined on our own. Here attention to detail is incredible. She helped us choose colors and materials feel intentional and cohesive. The bedroom is now a calm, stylish retreat, and the bathrooms are spa-like. Communication was seamless throughout the entire process. Jessica coordinated flawlessly with contractors and kept the project on track.

With Jessica’s guidance and expertise, we were able to reimagine the layout of our dated, cramped kitchen and underutilized dining room to create a beautiful, expansive kitchen and butler’s pantry. Jessica provided options and helped us make confident decisions (big and small) to maximize the space’s functionality and achieve a look we love.

Jess is an exceptionally talented designer. We were so impressed with her ability to reimagine our space to improve the functionality while incorporating everything on our wish list. Jessica is amazing! She totally knocked it out of the park with our lower level remodel. From stone accent walls to the bar and wine cellar (who knew the space underneath the stairs could be turned into something so beautiful!!) every detail is spot on. She made all the tough decisions feel easy, kept us on track, and some how made the whole process actually fun. The space feels stylish, cozy, and so us. It was a pleasure working with Jess on our bedroom and bathroom remodel. While we contemplated for years on how to rearrange awkward walls, Jess used a software program which quickly allowed us to visualize her space-saving ideas. After listening to our wants and decor aesthetic, she brought us options as the project progressed. She worked closely with the contractors to ensure everyone is on the same page, and she learns from them on what can or cannot be done. Our next ah hah moment was our one visit to a tile shop - she walked us through the overwhelming options and when she saw us both agree on a tile, she added it to her software (while in the store), then added paint color, lighting, mirror etc for effect - the whole room came together right there. Jess is a strong professional, highly organized, creative and a pleasure to have in our home.

We are thrilled with the outcome of our kitchen/great room remodel. JLC provided invaluable insight during the entire project. We really appreciated the attention to detail embedded in their multi step process beginning with project design all the way through completion. The detailed project schedule they provided helped guide the entire process including design, demolition, construction and final installation. They helped us navigate through various decisions; especially during the selection process when multiple hardware and finish choices needed to be made to support the project schedule. JLC was responsive in keeping things on track and instrumental in relaying/interpreting design, construction and installation plans with our general contractor and various subs. They were a game changer for us.

We are so grateful our builder recommended working with JLC to bring our vision to life. Without the assistance of the team at JLC through each phase, the project would have been overwhelming. Their expertise in both design and construction enabled us to solve some unique challenges and avoid problems during the build. They made the selection process fun and easy as they helped us find products that we love to create a cohesive design that reflects our style and the history of this home. They proposed great ideas that we never would have considered on our own, and the end result is stunning and functions beautifully.

We worked with JLC on space planning and project management for our remodel project and were thrilled with their design, problem solving and organization. We did not add any square footage to our house, but JLC worked to create more livable and functional spaces with thoughtful storage solutions and floor plans. They listened to our families needs and helped us make decisions from a place of information at every step. You will be forever grateful you hired J.L.C. Remodeling & Interior Design! We sure are. We did a first floor remodel and they brought so much experience, expertise and style to the project. You have no idea all the little things, the details, you miss without them. They saved us money and time and gave us an end result we love! There are so many examples of things we would have done on our own and we would not of been happy with the end results. Jessica & Vicki prevented that and instead we now laugh at how bad something would have looked if we would have done it “our way”. If you are like us and have never worked with designers this is what you are missing. Jessica and Vicki first carefully listen to how your home is working for you and not working for you. They are so thorough in the process and they come back to you with plans and designs to make your space fit your needs. You will be amazed with what they come back with and be instantly excited to start the transformation. Then they coordinate with the contractor and meet with all the subs to make sure the project is going to be executed correctly. They follow up along the way and this all contributes to a project being done right and on time. Because you have them the contractors are also held to being on task from someone other then the homeowners which is incredibly valuable. They advocate for you to make sure things are running smoothly and done right. Such peace of mind. Equally valuable was their help in product selection. There is so much to choose from it can be overwhelming and Jessica and Vicki go with you to vendors and help you. This was huge for us. We would have spent days deciding on a floor and countless trips back and forth but instead we did it in a couple hours and were 100% confident in our selection. I can’t imagine doing any remodel project without them. We will hire them again for any future projects. They can transform your home to a home you will love.

This is the second time I used JLC for a project and based off my first two experiences I will ALWAYS work with them on any house project moving forward. I think it’s hard for people to wrap their head around paying for designers on top of the actual work being done, but it’s worth every penny. Every tiny detail is thought of and their expertise made my whole house look put together and cohesive, even though we mainly focused on the basement this round. They were also there for every meeting with the general contractor and also for all the trades (tile, electrical, painting, etc). It took SO MUCH stress off of me. At the start of this project Jessica and Vicki came out to my house and listened to everything I wanted to change and then came back with a plan on how to accomplish it all + some things I hadn’t even thought of. They brought in an amazing contractor to do all the work. They also helped with all of the selections for the bathroom and dry bar (taking into account the budget I had set), took care of ordering everything that was needed for the remodel, sent back anything that wasn’t needed and coordinated delivery of everything else. I can’t express how much I loved working with these 2. Great company, great taste & great people.
