I “recently” (within the last 5 years) remodeled a house and managed to put myself one step closer in the grave lol. My contractor, Joe Roberts & Associates, was absolutely amazing and I couldn’t have done it without him - literally!! However, what I didn’t know at the time, and when I wrote my first recommendation, is just how truly reliable and dependable (even after all these years) this hardworking man is! You see, I had an issue with my shower tile. I sent Joe a message and instead of telling me some crazy excuse or giving me the run around, he promptly scheduled a visit with his tile guy! During the visit, I showed him another issue with the flooring in my living room. After a few minutes of back-and-forth with the tile guy, Joe provided me several options on how to proceed, starting with the less expensive option AND the option that would be less messy lol!! And when I tell you the less expensive, I literally mean it cost pennies when he could have NOT told me that option at all and charged me thousands…and I would have been none the wiser!! I’m a firm believer that you shouldn’t just share the negative experiences! On the rare occasion you find good, honest, salt-of-the-earth people, you shout it to the rooftops! And this man Joe Roberts is EXACTLY that person!! If you are in the market for a contractor, I highly recommend you contact Roberts & Associates - you won’t be disappointed!

Roberts and Associates has exceeded my expectations every step of the way! Joe and his team did a complete renovation of my 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house (approximately 1800 sq. ft.). I cannot compliment them enough on their attention to detail. They were an absolute pleasure, incredibly responsive, conscientious professionals who listened to my requests and guided me through what could have been a nightmare! Joe and his team definitely set the tone for excellence and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to build or renovate in Cabarrus County and surrounding areas.

From our first meeting to our last walk-through, Joe and his team (inc. Scott, onsite supervisor) did an absolute amazing job! I truly cannot say enough good things about Roberts & Associates. We updated/enlarged our den and updated our kitchen. Joe not only meet our deadlines and stayed under budget, but was professional, timely, helpful and dedicated to our project. Both Joe and Scott made themselves available whenever we needed them. There are a lot of contractors out there who can "do the job". There's not, however, many contractors out there who will take care of you like Joe. The next time we have a home renovation or remodeling there is no one we will use but Roberts & Associates. And I suggest all others do the same.

Several years ago I purchased an old house - 140 year old house. It needed a lot of work. I hired Roberts & Associates to handle some of the immediate needs - rotten siding, possible termite damage. They completed the work requested and much much more. I've since hired them to renovate the kitchen and then the dining room. None of these projects have been easy given the age of the home. I'm absolutely thrilled with the work. Joe Roberts is definitely a professional who over-delivers and I recommend him all the time. I won't trust my next renovation to anyone else and I can't wait to get started on all the other rooms that need his expertise.

I needed some remodeling work done to my house. I visited a neighbor's home who recently had the same scope of work done that I was planning and immediately knew that I wanted to hire Roberts & Associates because of the quality of the work performed. Upon meeting Joe Roberts, I knew that the man was an honest professional and really knew all aspects of building, renovating or remodeling. I hired him and he and his contractors completed all of the work - and then some, that I had asked to be done. Nothing was left until all of the work was perfect. All of his sub contractors cleaned up after themselves and if something wasn't to your liking, was fixed until you were 100% satisfied. They were all honest and I left them alone on numerous occasions and was not worried about my house or possessions in the least bit. Joe came to the house often during the job and asked if I had any questions, issues and many times came up with ideas that would work better, save money or might have prevented future problems. Joe showed me every bill, and exactly what was paid so there was no doubt about the cost of the project. To sum it up, if you are contemplating to do some construction work, whether remodeling or building from scratch, I urge you to have Roberts & Associates give you a quote. You may have to wait as he is extremely busy (beware of contractors who can "start tomorrow") but it will be worth your wait!

I hired Joe Roberts and Associates to do some much needed outside repairs, solve a major drainage problem, and create a patio and retaining wall to expand our outdoor living space. I am delighted with the results! Water drainage is no longer a problem, thanks to some very creative and attractive solutions. New chimneys were rebuilt to match existing brickwork. A crumbling retaining wall and outdated patio was reconfigured and has become our favorite place to enjoy the family. Joe listened to what I wanted and then worked out a design that was beyond my expectations, all with attention to details that I love. All work was handled professionally and promptly by Joe and his team.
