The team at Kara O'Connor Interiors is exceptional. Kara helped us with every step of the process in decorating our new construction home. She really took the time to learn about our style and made smart recommendations. She respected our time, budget and priorities. When things got tough or overwhelming I found Kara to be fun, assertive with problem solving and got it done in a way I never could! We are forever grateful for Kara O'Connor Interiors for making our house a home.

We have worked with Kara over the last couple of years in conjunction with a move to a new construction condo. She's worked with us from the pre-construction selection process, to furnishing the unit, and finally decorating with the personal touches that make it home. Kara strikes a great balance between working within our personal style and pushing us to consider new things. We also really appreciate that she considers functionality and the fact that ultimately our space needs to be workable for a family with young children.

We are so pleased with the Wonderful Job Kara did Decorating our homes in Chicago and Scottsdale. She was mindful of our budget and did a great job of incorporating the pieces we already owned. She is very organized focused and creative. She thinks outside of the box doesn't just use the Big Box stores that we are all familiar with. She Likes to use local and/or smaller vendors that are unique. We have some awesome conversation pieces in both our homes. We couldn't be happier. Kara took the time to gather our sense of style to piece together many aspects of our home's renovation. When time was of the essence, Kara managed to organize what could have been an overwhelming trip to the Merchandise Mart, into a productive experience. Kara offered smart insight into space planning our bathrooms to maximize their function. She found beautiful textiles that suit our needs, budget and keep living with two young children in mind!

We asked Kara for assistance in remodeling the kitchen for our 2BR condo in Chicago on a shoestring budget. She researched and presented several options for design and recommended skilled and respectful workers to do the work. Kara was professional and hands on throughout the entire process, showed a great attention to detail, and was always prepared to go to the next step, staying on time and on budget. Our small space looks and feels bigger after her expert advice. She recommended several cosmetic and low cost ways to update our home including paint colors, and furniture placement. We are very happy with the result and get compliments all the time.

We have worked with Kara for the past 4 years. She is both a consummate professional as well as a lovely person. Throughout our time working together, she balanced hearing our decorating preferences for our home while also giving her professional input. As a result, we are extremely pleased with the end result regarding the interior of our home. Many friends whom I spoke to before hiring Kara complained that their designers were "pushy" in some way and/or did not respect the budget that they set for a particular room. As a result of hearing the concerns of others, I have been so appreciative that Kara works very differently with her clients. I have recommended Kara without hesitation and will continue to do so.
