Dennis always builds home that I am proud to photograph. I have photographed over 1000 homes in his local market and his projects always stand out for their excellence, build quality and stunning attention to detail.

We hired Dennis Kavanagh Construction based on the quality of construction we observed on a house similar to the one we wanted to build. We found the staff and all subcontractors to be very professional and talented. Between Dennis, his Project Manager, Chris Page, and the rest of his staff and subs and our architect, Jeff Williams, we ended up with the home of our dreams. It is a beautiful log home with superb craftsmanship both outside and inside. The quality of the construction was truly amazing. When Dennis builds you a house, he tells you that he is your contractor for life and this has proven to be so true. It is also noteworthy that all Kavanagh clients become personal friends with both Dennis and his wife, Sheree.

Dennis Kavanagh is the best of the best when it comes to general contractors. Dennis built my house in Ketchum, completing it in 2005, and has been involved in looking after it ever since. The design and construction were challenging tasks given the difficult site conditions (the house is a high-end, 5500 sq. ft. 3-level structure built on a mountain slope with limited access and parking). Dennis and his foreman did a masterful job handling every aspect of the project. I have worked with many contractors over the years and I have never seen such attention to detail. In addition to all the things one expects from a topnotch contractor, Dennis also made important contributions to the design process, often raising questions or making suggestions that led to improvements in aesthetics, practical utility or cost savings. Post-construction, Dennis makes being an owner easy—he is always there and eager to help deal with any problem or issue that might arise, no matter how small. Another telling fact is that I have met a lot of the other people that Dennis has built homes for over the years and all feel the same way I do about Dennis. As a bonus, he is one of the nicest persons you will ever meet.

We have worked with Kavanagh Construction for over 22 years. They have built two homes for us along with significant remodels on other homes. I trust Dennis Kavanagh and his company completely. He understands all aspects of construction, his subs are all outstanding, he works well with architects and for him his clients always come first. He takes on the responsibility of maintaining any home he has built into the future.

Dennis Kavanagh Construction built our house north of Ketchum many years ago. When we decided to add a cabin on the property we immediately called Dennis. He was able to use an in house designer for our very small log cabin so the schedule fit perfectly with our hopes for a summer party there. Dennis and his team are the best!
