We had a very disappointing experience with K&W Windows, and I would strongly encourage anyone considering working with them to proceed with caution. First, be aware of their high pressure sales tactics. During the in home consultation we were told we would receive a significant discount, roughly a third off, but only if we put down a deposit on the spot while the salesperson was present. We were told that if we reached out after the consult, the discount would no longer apply. Unfortunately, we fell for this pressure. Since then, the experience has been nothing but frustrating. Our entry door was installed in December, and the moment the door arrived for installation we immediately flagged that it was not the door we ordered. The door did not even resemble the product shown in the sales pictures. We were promised a plugless frame door, but the one delivered had multiple visible plugs across the frame, making it look more like a $9,000 jail door than the product we believed we were purchasing. Even at that moment, neither the salesperson nor the company’s management seemed to know how to handle the situation. We were told they were unsure whether the issue should be treated as a warranty claim or a product error, which was surprising considering we had just received the wrong door. Three months later, we are still waiting for a replacement, and the experience has only become more frustrating. Instead of resolving the issue, the company has spent months shifting blame internally. At one point we were told their salesperson was not properly trained to sell that product and essentially sold us something that does not exist. How that becomes the customer’s problem is beyond me. The lack of accountability has been particularly disappointing. Rather than owning the mistake, we have been given conflicting explanations and delays. Today was the first time in three months that a representative from the company actually came out to inspect the door. Before this, we attempted several times to schedule visits with the original salesperson, who repeatedly confirmed appointments and then never showed up. The proposed solution from the company was even more surprising. We were told we could pay the cost of a brand new door on top of what we already paid, essentially asking us to buy another door to correct their mistake. Meanwhile, our payment was gladly accepted the day of the sale. I would also add that based on this experience, I cannot recommend ProVia as a door manufacturer. It appears they do not provide adequate training to the companies that sell their products, their catalog images and renderings are misleading compared to the actual product delivered, and there has been little accountability from anyone involved in resolving the issue. Three months later, we still do not have the door we ordered and there is no clear resolution in sight. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and follow through has been extremely disappointing.

A couple of months ago K&H replaced a patio sliding door for me (probably 8 years old) at no charge, as parts were no longer available to fix the door. The part that broke was probably a 25 cent item, but could no longer be found. They put in a new and better door and only charged me a $50 trip charge. Why would I use anyone else. Fantastic customer service.

We hired K&H to replace our old, front picture window with a sliding replacement window. Everyone we spoke with, from the salesperson to the installers, was professional and friendly. K&H kept us informed throughout the process, giving us updates on the construction of our new window and projected installation date. The installers worked quickly, did impeccable work, and left the area cleaner than it was before they started. We have enjoyed our window for almost a year now and couldn't be happier with it or the work K&H did.

THEY measured & installed a garden window that has almost a 1" gap on 1 side, 3/4" on the other and another 1" too short height wise. The window is NOTHING close to size of the damaged garden window it is replacing. The previous window was only installed 9 years ago. The operations manager was insulting and unethical in trying to placate me with $100 off. When I am spending well over $2000 for something to be custom made to fit my house I DO NOT expect to it to look like it was a prefab window I bought from one of the big box stores and just had to make it work. CUSTOM manufactured to me means it will fit properly without modifications & without me as a homeowner having high energy bills because they had to fill in all the gaps with tons of expandable foam and at least 3 inch trim boards all the way around. Industry standard is about 1/4" gab on each side of the window. I wouldn't want this horrible looking window even if they paid ME the entire full cost of the window. I take more pride in my home than to spend thousands of dollars for something that looks this horrible!!! I am wanting to increase the value of my home not flush it down the toilet. SHAME on you K&H!

The salesman was prompt and professional, he explained everything very clear and concise. The estimate on time and installation was exactly as expected. The installation crew was very prompt and professional as well. Their job was completed 2 hours ahead of projected. The lead installation man went over all aspects of the work before leaving.
