The Lanoue family has been building homes in the Berkshires and beyond for decades. They are renowned for their craftsmanship and they run a very organized and safe work site. They are known for their timber frame construction and historical accuracy in building and renovating soundly constructed homes. They also collaborate with competent professionals that adhere to a high standard of excellence. We had an exceptional experience with Lanoue Inc. We had always dreamed of living in a timber frame home. We also wanted to live in a well built and up to date home that would last a lifetime and tell our story. Our project was well planned from the beginning and we were excited to be a part of the process. They made it easy because their knowledge of traditional building with historical perspective helped guide our decisions. We were able to stay within our budget and when we made a change we offset it with comparable sacrifices. They built us a modern home steeped in tradition that is already a classic.

Dave Lanoue has a family operation and it comes across in everything he does. Dave is professional, communicative, thoughtful and highly skilled. There is not a person who has entered our home that has not commented on the excellent workmanship. We feel fortunate to have found Dave when interviewing contractors to build our home. He puts a great deal of care and attention into not only the details of the build, but the quality of his relationship with his client. I could not recommend him more highly.
