Worst decision we could've made for the deck. We interviewed several different companies and finally decided on legends based on their apparent attention to detail. Bill Sr. sat with us for an extended period of time laying out the plans for the deck and we seemed comfortable with him based on his apparent ability. When the construction began, we quickly realized that the job was too big for them and they lack the ability to complete the project. While they hired many " part time workers " and college kids to help with the project, they were unable to keep many people working with them. This resulted in a large project being built by one "skilled " worker, who was unable to deliver the quality that we had expected. We ended up having to consult lawyers and threaten a lawsuit in order to have them finish the job. They vanished for weeks at a time, only occasionally coming for a day or two to do minimal work. For a project that they had approximated four months to complete, took approximately 12 months. Even now, we are unhappy with many of the finer details of the deck and have had other people come out to fix their mistakes. The deck squeaks when you walk on it, many of the boards are loose and the rails feel very unsafe. Do not hire them.

Horrible quality and customer service at a premium price. Entire deck had to be removed immediately after being installed in 2016 due to countless leaks into "dry" storage space. Same deck boards were reinstalled with numerous empty screw holes, one of which cracked as shown in picture. Almost two years later and I still have numerous issues from the initial install that need to be fixed. They were taking months to respond and now have stopped responding all together despite their 10-year warranty that claims issues will be fixed within 45 days. Zuri (deck board manufacturer) representative visited my house and stated the deck was not installed properly so they will not warranty the deck. Very expensive mistake selecting Legends as my contractor.

First let me start of by saying that working with Bill Senior during the design phase was an absolute pleasure. He is courteous, prompt, reliable and very friendly. Before starting the project we received estimates from a few companies. Legends wasn't the cheapest estimate but it was the most honest. Bill senior made it very clear how much the project could cost if we had to make changes during the build out either because we changed our minds or something came up during the build (which it always does). He didn't want there to be any surprises and wanted us to be comfortable with our decisions and what the potential costs could be (FYI, even with the changes the final cost was almost spot on with the original estimate.) It was Bill Seniors honesty that made us choose Legends. The construction was handled by Bill Junior and his crew. Bill Junior is an extreme professional. My wife was home for a few months while Bill Junior and his crew worked, they were very polite and courteous and worked around our schedules. If we needed them to miss days during the week and come on the weekends they always accommodated. The project which consisted of removal of an existing rotting deck and constructing a new deck and a screen house started in October and went through the bitter cold of winter. Regardless of how cold it was if there was work to do Bill and his crew were there. They even came on days when it snowed. Bill Junior would try to anticipate where we would have changes to the build from the original design and would always talk to my wife and I before making any changes. I couldn't be more pleased with our decision in using Legends and how the project came up. when dealing with the major construction you are going to have little hiccups along the way and even when you're finished. His crew was prompt in replying and when we need them for quick fixes after the project was done they were there. We absolutely love the lighting they suggested and the material we ultimately decided on.

Bill Lecorchick and his team are expert in exterior projects, particularly deck construction.

Legends Home Improvements is an enthusiastic, fair and hard working company. They designed and built a multi-story deck for me in 2010, complete with a slide for my children, a grill, bar, planter boxes and fire pits. The deck was waterproofed underneath and done in a beautiful PVC material. A few years later when that PVC material showed signs of environmental compromise (the coating came up white through the material), Legends contacted the manufacturer and had them fix it for me so that it looks brand new again. In 2016, they designed the base for and installed a synthetic ice rink in my backyard and even considered my children's thoughts and ideas. I would recommend them to anyone in the market for personalized, timely, quality service. I appreciate their honesty and creativity in making my projects one-of-a-kind and keeping them stress-free.

On July 6, 2013 our home was damage by a fire from my neighbors recreation trailer. The entire one side of the house including two windows sustained serious heat damage. I contacted Legends Home Improvement and spoke to Bill Lecorchick. A few days later Bill came to the house to view the damage and take measurements and photos to complete a detailed estimate of the work that needed to be done. Bill was up front as to problem of matching the detail and color of the original siding. After an exhaustive search to try and match the siding we decided that it would be best to re-do the entire house. Bill was instrumental in supplying us with numerous sample books of siding to assist us in our decision. The legends team estimated the project to be completed in two weeks. On November 11, 2013 legends sent a two man crew in to set up scaffolding and begin stripping the house of the original siding. The next day a full crew was onsite to continue stripping the siding and start installation of the new insulation and siding they even repaired some hidden damage that was discovered when the old siding was removed. The project was completed on November 26th two days before Thanksgiving. I commend Bill and his crew not just for the excellent job they did in making our home beautiful but for respectful position they took in dealing with my wife and I, as well as respecting our property by keeping it clean of debris during the process and after each day of work.. I highly recommend Legends Home Improvements and will not hesitate in calling on them for future projects.
