I was looking for a designer for the apartment I had just moved to. I spoke with a few designers, and Lily Z Designs Inc. was the perfect fit. Lily Z Designs Inc. was accommodating, flexible and organized. Lily interviewed and listened to me and learned my style. With the LZD process - sketches, web links, alternatives, painting, and installation - I felt very comfortable with my decisions and purchases. My experience with LZD made the work fun and creative. We are so lucky we found Lily. Working with Lily has been overall nothing short of an exceptional experience. We decided to do a large home project- we wanted to redo the deck and our basement. We knew this wasn't going to be easy. Such projects always go over budget and there are always arguments with contractors and vendors. We wanted to extend our deck and make the basement comfortable. We were not expecting this to be miraculous. But that is what Lily delivered. She incorporated a slide on our deck for our children. She designed a gorgeous deck that would allow the walk-out basement to have tons of light. She designed a basement that could comfortably house our entire family. All this and under budget. She took the time to understand what we wanted and she exceeded expectation. Lily's level of service is excellent. She will text back always and stop by often to check on the work. She will work with you to make sure that you are happy. We have enjoyed every step of this project. Her vendors are carefully selected and always competitive. Lily has been great to work with. She has a wonderful sense of style, is very pleasant, super responsive and catered to our particular tastes (mid-century modern) while giving us ideas to expand what we would do on our own. I have been so impressed with her business model - a way that a client can choose how much design help one wants. Her Z-box is a great idea - it was so much fun when she came to give us the presentation which included boards complete with inspiration photos, layout, renderings of the design and a shopping list. I have had the privilege of using Lily Z design to design my house. It was in dire need of interior design work and it felt overwhelming.
