Lisa Roy Architectural Designs

Lisa drew the designs for our major kitchen renovation and basement remodel of our newly-purchased townhome. Her ideas were so creative and allowed us to open up the formerly closed-off kitchen and create a fully open-concept main floor plan. We're so happy with the final result and we've received so many compliments on the changes!

After having worked with a 'cookie cutter' architectural firm that was incapable of putting our vision together, it was a breath of fresh air to work with Lisa and see her creativity make our dream a reality. I would definitely recommend her to anyone building a custom made home.

We hired Ms. Roy to create plans for our new home to be built on a lake front. Lisa came with us to take photos of the property in its original state. We then reviewed a list of "wants" and "must-haves". From there, Lisa drew up a few different options for us to view. After only a few revisions, she captured the vision that we had for our property. She incorporated the views we desired, both of the front of the house facing the lake, the back of the house facing the vineyards and even the side of the house facing the ravine. But not only that, and perhaps almost more importantly, the interior plans she created reflected who we are as a couple and a family. We would work with Lisa again at any time and would most highly recommend her for any architectural work.

As a window decorating specialist I have the opportunity to visit many homes, renovations and new builds and it never surprises me to find those truly special projects are the work of Lisa Roy. Her projects are unique to the owner, the environment and I'm in awe each time over all the stunning details.

Lisa did an amazing job designing our house! She managed to accommodate all of our requests (i.e. at home business with private entrance etc.) and maximized the use of the floor space so that there is no wasted space. On top of that it also looks beautiful.
