Had a really good experience with John and his foreman AJ. They communicated well, showed up when they said they would, and delivered the project on budget and a little ahead of schedule.

We did a 400 hundred square foot basement finishing project, along with the addition of a 4th bedroom. John, AJ (the project manager), and the entire team were trustworthy, detail oriented, professional and great to work with. We were also completely pleased with how the project turned out. They also came in completely within budget. We would recommend John Hill Construction without hesitation.

John Hill and his crew did an amazing job with our kitchen remodel. There will always be unexpected issues when remodeling and this team of professionals were quick to resolve any issues. We had our wood floors redone as well. John and his crew were eager to bring our remodel vision to life and they delivered in the promised time frame. That was important for my busy family of five. We look forward to working with John Hill Construction on future home improvements!

John Hill totally renovated my Loveland, OH condo shortly after I bought it, but while I was still living in New York City. The first time I stepped into the work-in-progress I knew I had picked the right firm and I could relax from there out – the craftsmanship was outstanding. They are superb builders, great communicators, understand your wants and needs, work within your budget and go the extra mile. I was able to check in daily on the Buildertrend app to see the schedule and photos of work done. They were easily available for questions and discussions regarding details. John and his crew finished the work a week before my scheduled move. The results are superb. John is at a professional level heads above his competition.

We came to John Hill as a highly recommended contractor to build our new home. We went through the design process with him trusting that, as he says in his ads that he works very hard to work the clients wishes into their budget. After 5 months of meetings, architects drawings, $20k later we were ready to sign the contract. Imagine our surprise when he came to the meeting with parts of the house design removed and then announced that the project was $130k over what we had budgeted and had told him time and time again. A week later after going back and forth with him we were to discover that the house we had drawn up could never have been built within our budget. He never informed us of this so we lost $10k on this project. We paid him $10k for the opportunity for him to spec the house house and show it was not within our budget. We would never recommend him nor will we ever build a house if this is how it goes.

We worked with John Hill on a large scale custom home in the Loveland area that required a tremendous amount of creativity, skill and organization. The level of craftsmanship on this project was exceptional and John's ability to pull it all together - amazing. He constructed a beautiful one of a kind home for his client unlike any I have seen before!

We were considering collaborating on a project together which didn't come to fruition. I was impressed with the professionalism of the firm. I would definitely recommend this company!

I had always heard horror stories of building a house, so I was a bit anxious when I decided to do it myself. John Hill made the entire experience absolutely wonderful!!! He was on site almost daily, he used quality products, and he worked with me every step of the way to modify the plans to my liking. Now I'm truly living in my dream house! Soon (hopefully) John will be back to finish the basement for the kids.

Company built my home. I have nothing but good things to say about this builder. Outstanding craftsmanship,Good value, trustworthy. Owner is frequently on site and subs are of high quality and respectful. i would recommend this builder for any projects from room additions/remodels to complete design and build to any of my friends.

We did a nine hundred square foot addition to our first floor. We expanded the kitchen area, added a hearth room and family room as well as expanding our laundry room and pantry. We were very pleased with the process. John, Vince and the entire team were trust worthy, detail oriented, professional and wonderful to work with on this project. We would recommend John without reservation.

They were helpful with the design of our master bath, and very clear as to the time table and cost aspects of the project.
