Lundia USA Toxic Free

I placed 2 orders with Lundia USA. The first order is still missing 6 doors, even though I paid it in full. They haven't told me anything about the missing doors, only that they will check. Also, they have not given me any update about second order, which I placed more than 28 weeks ago and paid 50%. I sent them several emails, I called several times, they always tell me they will check and give me status update but then they don't give me any status update.

Just finished putting my @LundiaUSA closet together! Love it! Can't say enough positive things about the experience from beginning to end. A quality product and great support. Plus the only thing I smell in my closet is wood! No off gassing or headaches. Can't beat that.

I purchased the closet system based on the recommendation of my son, who also bought one for his walk-in closet. Although his is slightly bigger in size than mine, Rob created a configuration that would work for me. After some adjustments based upon how are use the closet I ordered the clear pine finish. Installation seemed to be straightforward, as I was assisting my son in this install. It created more space than I had before. Quality in the system of the engineering and the actual solid wood product is a feature of this that I appreciate. I originally had one of those wire rack systems. I neglected to order the wall anchors on my initial order, but when I called their offices Lynn was very helpful and is sending them to me. Still reloading it and I am finding the ability to move shelf heights easily a big advantage. I would recommend the system if you are considering upgrading,

Lundia is the superior shelf/closet product. Made in the USA out of solid wood and incredibly sturdy, whereas most of the competition is MDF based. We have metal stud walls in Florida so hanging shelves or hanger rods is not a good idea. Lundia's shelf design is based on floor loading and you can have any combination of drawers, shelves or hanging combinations. You will not be disappointed with their product or the customer service.

Ordering was easy. Hand sketched a design and sent to Lynn and she made some helpful suggestions and sent back a final design. Ordered on Oct 19, 2021, hoping to have by Christmas, which was not guaranteed by Simple Closet/Lundia. In mid-Jan, on a Friday, received notice from FedEx that delivery would be the following week, when I would be out of town. I drove 30 miles one way that night to the FedEx facility to pick up. I specifically told Simple Closet/Lundia that I needed to be notified before shipping, as I traveled a lot, which they did not do. Shelves/drawers were well packed and there was no shipping damage. A number of the shelves were warped, which Simple Closet/Lundia replaced without question. Turned out the drawer layout I sketched and Simple Closet/Lundia finalized and sent back to me doesn't work due to bracing in the frames. After several emails back and forth, Simple Closet/Lundia ended up sending new drawer fronts two different times. Had to remind them to send them after waiting a month the second time. Even with the new drawer fronts, spacing was incorrect and I ended up cutting the fronts down and staining myself. What isn't obvious on the website is that they glue pieces of wood together for the drawer fronts. On my 9-inch drawer fronts, 7 pieces of wood glued together leading to inconsistent grain and stain. 8 months from when I ordered to when I received final parts. If you want to have lots of hassles, pay a price that is nearly the cost of a custom closet, and wait months and months for delivery, this is the company for you

My wife and I delighted at how well the closet system has transformed our old "gerry-rigged" closet into one that looks professionally designed and built. Working with the folks at Lundia, I am convinced we got the most out of a limited space. It was also fun to put together. Closet systems are decent quality but the lack of useable instructions makes putting them together a nightmare. And double check to make sure you have all of the components needed. Lundia skimps on the nuts and bolts and forgot to include the finishing nails on my system. A simple 10-minute video would have saved me a lot of frustration.

What an excellent experience. Made in the USA, as easy to assemble as they say, and looks very substantial. We ordered a mix of hanging, shelves, and drawers, with the handles already installed. The color and staining of our wood looks excellent. Our project was towards the upper end of the project cost range and was able to be completed by one person in an afternoon. The sales person I worked with was A++ and actually listened.

After deciding to redo a 10 by 14' walk-in and considering multiple systems, I decided to go with Lundia. Solid wood and a system that has an extremely broad selection of component sizes puts them above the rest. The result was a truly custom closet system. Additionally, drawers, shelves and hang bars can be interchanged, modified and moved very easily as things change. Purchasing additional components is easy and the company and product has been around for a long time.

Dear Fellow consumers: I am delighted to recommend to you Lundia Closet Systems. I recently purchased a Lundia closet system from Recom Group, to fit on a 13’ wall of a walk in closet. From my first contact with design consultant Lynn Bischoff to the assembly of the closet, everything was impeccable, seamless, well thought out, and frankly the best design I have ever seen not just for closet systems but for any product, it is simply brilliant and a work of genius! I am a fairly fussy, picky, demanding and critical consumer. I have not found a single fault with this product. In fact I have not found a single thing about this product that isn’t absolutely perfect and brilliant! I mean that literally. Everything from the packaging on up is perfect. Over and over again as I was assembling the closet, which was very easy, I had to stop and admire the brilliance of the design, and found myself saying how smart is that! In addition the system is very flexible and adjustable. Without any equivocation at all I give Lundia closet systems and Recom group, and Lynn Bischoff my very highest and unequivocal recommendation.

I love my new closet! For only a small price over what I would have paid closet companies to put in particle board....I have real wood! Lundia closet systems are very easy to put together and great quality! Lynn Bischoff helped me every step of the way. She gave me suggestions, put together CAD drawings, ordered everything, and kept me up to date on the manufacturing and delivery. I was amazed also on how carefully packaged everything was. There was not a single thing damaged or missing. Putting it together was nice and easy with great full color step by step instructions.

The Lundia Simple Closet is cleverly designed and engineered so that I, a 53-year-old skinny woman with a weak back, was able to put it together without any assistance. Looks simple when you see it all together, but this solid wood closet has the intricate details that made it come together without frustration and without duct tape. The cost is around the same or not much more than the Ikea Pax system which is pressed wood. The only problem I had with assembly was that they forgot to send 8 essential screws (the only thing missing and considering how this thing is made, that is impressive!), but even they were easy to find at Lowes (meaning someone at Lundia considered the need to have universal and easy to find screws). I mean, they even sent shims for the drawer front placements (which, I used incorrectly as you can see in the pic by the slight gap on one side of the system). I am planning to order another closet for my son.
