My wife and I decided to hire Macke Design after we purchased our home and needed to build a master bedroom/bathroom addition and mudroom entry for a new addition to our family...our (not yet born at the time) daughter, along with our 2 teenage kids. Tyler far exceeded our expectations! His clear and cut communication is something that impressed us, as most contractors we talked to during this process were so-so with getting back to us on time or clearly letting us know what the plan was. But Tyler never let up with keeping us informed. During the excavating and building, his crews were extremely professional, and many of them became like family to us. Although we really didn't realize they were there most of the time, which is great considering our then-newborn daughter (and our teenagers, too lol) were sleeping most of the time. Once everything was complete...WOW...we are SO impressed! My own personal thoughts and what I expected when it was finished was something that might feel like a cold plywood and concrete box (honestly, anyone I've talked to that built an addition said it can be tricky to have it feel like part of the house)...but Tyler built our addition with so much care and attention to detail, that it feels like a brand new house overall! We love it so much that we'd rather hang out in the addition than in the original structure of our house. The quality of work and materials is above and beyond what we expected. We can't say enough great things about Tyler and his company and the crews that worked on our home. We love coming home and relaxing with our family in the new space!

My wife and I hired Macke Design to build a pergola over our patio. The pergola turned out even nicer than we had hoped...we love it! Tyler and his crew are very courteous and professional. They did a great job cleaning up after each day they worked, never left a mess at all. We are already planning to hire them again for future projects!

Tyler replaced a out dated stairway banister with a Cherry wood and wrought iron one. He and Steve were very courteous, professional and I would use them again. The price was very fair.

Tyler turned our hohum backyard into a restful sanctuary that we will enjoy for MANY years. We now have a patio, steps and fire pit that are the envy. He also built a decorative car port. He is highly reliable. The jobs were done on time and in budget. I certainly recommend him for your home remodeling jobs. We're going to have him back for a bathroom project.

Tyler and his crew replaced stone around our long drive and added a patio between the end of the drive and our deck. I initially called Tyler about a retaining wall I thought I needed but he suggested a fix that would cost much less, and was effective but did not involve hiring his company. I really appreciated his honesty so I decided to ask him about the stonework near the drive and hired him after discussing his estimate with my husband. His crew was prompt, polite and they (including Tyler) worked hard to complete the task. The end result was beautiful and we would hire him again without hesitation. Thanks for the wonderful work!

We recently had the opportunity to use Macke Design services. Tyler designed and modified an area in our backyard by installing patio pavers, rehabbing our old concrete patio and adding a gutter system for a drainage issue. Tyler and his crew were prompt, professional and considerate of our needs and requests. I would highly recommend his company. He is top of the list for any future projects in our home. I used Macke Design to re-do the ONLY bathroom in my 50+ year old house. Needless to say, once the walls were torn down all kinds of surprises popped up. Tyler took everything in stride and did an AMAZING job. From finding all the leaky pipes and replacing them to completely straightening out all the warped walls and floors. I never knew my tiny bathroom could look bigger and as beautiful as it does. Every day he and his crew completely cleaned the downstairs of dust and debris. Even on demolition day I came home and the only sign that he had ripped out my bathroom was the hole where it used to be. No trash or debris in the house or front yard, no destroyed walls or carpet. I am completely blown away at how clean they kept my house. Tyler helped me pick out tile and all the accessories (I couldn't figure out what would look good!) and suggested things that would make the bathroom truly pop. I couldn't be happier with my bathroom and no longer feel as though it is the one room dragging down my home. He did the job way quicker than I thought possible, which was extremely appreciated since this is my only bathroom. I will recommend him to anyone who needs any kind of work. He did my moms fence in her back yard when no one else would (because there were so many trees) and it is gorgeous! He seems to always have amazing ideas that makes it just a little more special and personalized. Thanks so much Tyler!!! You did an AMAZING job.

I have known Tyler Macke for many years. I was thrilled when I found out Macke Design LLC did interior remodeling as well as exterior. I hired Mackie Design LLC for several projects, the most recent was my kitchen. I have never experienced working with such a great group of young men. They showed up on time each day and stayed until the scheduled job for that day was completed. All materials were put away and the area cleaned each evening. All were dressed neatly, very patient, appeared professional and used manners. It was impressive to see a group care more about the work they were doing than playing with their cell phones. Tyler has a great team; all work together with one common goal - to please the homeowner. I was undecided in many areas of my kitchen. Tyler made many welcomed suggestions and gave me ideas based on his experience. He introduced me to houzz.com and suggested where I could pick up supplies at the best price. Without hesitation, I would recommend Macke Design LLC.

One of the only contractors that I would recommend to every one. Very trust worthy and one of the most flexible. I needed a estimate for my parents patio and I figured it would be a few days before he came , but I was wrong he was there that same day . Ever since then Tyler's hasn't let me down once great work and very respectful .
