I moved from a house into a carriage house that my daughter built. I had recently lost my husband and I needed a place that was cosy but bright and airy. Marianne listened to me and gave me what I needed. She looked at the furniture I wanted to keep and made space for each piece. And lots of room for my precious books. She went shopping with me and we found appliances and lighting features that I loved. I could go on about the colours, the finishes, the gallery wall... But in every case, she listened, worked with our builder, and gave me exactly what I needed. I would recommend Marianne in a heartbeat. Marianne Elizabeth Design I moved from Ontario this past summer to our forever home just outside of Sundre Alberta. My husband has been in the military for 22 years and we've moved around quite a bit. I always knew how to stage and sell a house, as we had to do it many times, but when it came to designing my own house, that I wouldn't have to sell in a few years, I had no clue what my style was. So I started investigating and looking up interior designers in the Airdrie area. Marianne Elizabeth Design came highly recommended. Marianne Elizabeth contacted me right away to see the scope and the depth of my project. I have never dealt with an interior designer before and wasn't sure what to expect. Marianne Elizabeth was so nice and willing to accommodate my request. It took her no time to come up with some fantastic ideas. Some ideas I had Implemented right away some ideas I tweaked. But no matter what whenever I had questions or concerns she was always available to help out. Since I was new to Alberta and didn't know suppliers or where to shop she even came out for a shopping day to assist me. Although my forever home is not finished yet, I've been working with Marianne Elizabeth for the last 6 months and will continue to the end of the renovation - which I hope ends soon. So whatever the project, small or big, I would highly recommend Marianne Elizabeth Design.

Marianne Elizabeth Design was instrumental in helping us complete our basement redevelopment. She assisted us with all aspects of the project, from developing a floor plan, providing drawings for building permits, recommending a wonderful contractor, selecting and sourcing all materials necessary for the completion of the project and choosing colours and finishes that are warm and inviting. She listened to our needs and likes and created a stunning space that is both functional and beautiful. Marianne was mindful of our budget, coming up with new and creative ways to be cost-effective and achieving beautiful results that did not take away from the quality of the finished product. I would highly recommend Marianne when tackling a renovation. We could not have done it without her and will certainly be using her knowledge and expertise in the future.
