Mark Oliphant

I assisted Mark with a couple of his artistic, thematic lighting projects. I have seen other projects in his home that are very unique and beautiful. My favorite are some projects he made with recycled antique piano parts. One is a large ensemble of piano parts attached to a large piece of wood. It's on the wall behind a large wooden desk and it's beautiful to look at and very unique. The other is one of the lighting projects we built together. It's beautiful and like nothing you've seen before. His kitchen cabinets are amazing. The lighting he used along with the nature themed transfers onto acrylic cabinet doors makes you feel like you are in an aquarium or nature center in the kitchen. The wood counters and wood trim are a beautiful contrast with the colorful cabinetry. I love unique things and he has some very unique things he has done with his home. The downstairs remodeled bath is gorgeous. He has pictures of all his creations. I rent now but if I purchase a house I would definitely have him help with creating some extraordinary features in all the rooms. I believe he could make anything a person wanted very inexpensively and beautifully. I appreciate that he recycles a lot in making his artistic creations. He doesn't like to waste. He thinks of other things he can do with left over items from a project.
