I cannot recommend McAvin Design highly enough! Rochelle and Brittany are simply wonderful to work with, and they provided me with a beautiful end result. I am so thankful that I found them and that they were available to work with me on my living room project. I had been having trouble finding design help -- as we weren't ready to do our entire home and were just focusing on one room, many of the larger firms weren't even calling me back. I hired an online designer with not much luck as my space is pretty unique and didn't lend itself well to virtual styling. I also tried the complimentary services from Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel, but we weren't happy with selecting pieces from only those stores. I was so lucky to finally find McAvin Design through Houzz. Rochelle promptly reached out, and it was so easy to schedule our consultation and every subsequent appointment. Rochelle and Brittany are amazing, and they really took the time to understand my goals and my preferences. Brittany even came back a few times after I decided I wanted window treatments, and she wanted to ensure the measurements were perfect. It was apparent that Rochelle and Brittany really wanted me to love the space. I am so thankful for their help and hope they are available for my next project!

Working with Rochelle McAvin was truly one of the best decisions I could have made for this project. Her talent for interior design is incredible, but what sets Rochelle apart is her ability to really listen, understand your vision, and then bring it to life in a way that somehow exceeds what you imagined. From the beginning, Rochelle took the time to understand my style, wishes, and vision for the space. She paid attention to every detail and was incredibly thoughtful about working within my budget, always finding and presenting multiple options so I could make informed decisions without ever feeling pressured. She has an amazing network of talented contractors and vendors, which made the entire process so much easier and gave me complete confidence that everything was being executed properly. And then there was my indecisiveness! Rochelle was incredibly patient throughout the entire process. She knew exactly when I just needed reassurance that I had made the right choice and when it was worth slowing down and looking at additional options. She somehow managed to give me choices without ever making me feel overwhelmed, which is truly a talent in itself. I also have to give a huge shoutout to her assistant, Britt. She was absolutely amazing and so attentive throughout the entire project. She was always willing to jump in whenever something was needed and would literally pop over to my house at a moment's notice to work through things with the contractor or help me make a decision. At one point, I needed help choosing a paint color and Britt actually drove to my house on a moment's notice to help me decide! That level of care and responsiveness made such a difference. The end result is absolutely incredible, and I am so thankful I had Rochelle and Britt to guide me through the entire process. They are truly the dream team — incredibly talented, thoughtful, responsive, patient, and just wonderful to work with. I cannot recommend Rochelle and Britt highly enough. If you are looking for someone who will not only create a beautiful space but will genuinely listen to you, understand your vision, respect your budget, and make the entire process feel manageable and enjoyable, look no further. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation!

Rochelle is truly talented and an exceptional communicator. She helped us with a large remodel and was collaborative at every step. Rochelle listens well; based on a bunch of my ramblings, she proposed ideas that illustrated what I could only dream of. Rochelle did great work for me. I was moving from Europe to St. Louis and needed my apartment furnished before I arrived. She made very quick, creative, and clean work of getting my apartment ready for me. It was no small task, but she handled it expeditiously, and with grace. I am especially grateful for the guidance she gave along the way about what might not work well from a design and space standpoint. She was able to tell me quickly whether something was going to fit or be too large; whether the colors were going to conflict. She also gave me a design board with recommendations for blackout curtains for my bedroom, and other essentials that I just didn't think about. Phenomenal experience through and through. I highly recommend. Rochelle will not let you down!

When we decided to re-model our kitchen and update our main level, we did not even know where to begin. I was overwhelmed, but Rochelle was there from start to finish. Rochelle met with me and got a feel for what my style was and what I liked and what I did not like and she was very responsive to our needs. She offered several fun options and helped us with all of our selections. It all came together very well and we get compliments all the time. Rochelle is an excellent designer. She has helped me with multiple projects over the years from designing for large renovations to picking out window treatments.
