From planning to completion, Kevin and his company exceeded my expectations AND in a timely manner!. His overall knowledge of the area, craftsmanship, and attention to detail made the process of building a new home painless. Though my house is small in size, Kevin and his Master carpenter Kevin put their custom touch into every square inch. From the custom wood-burning fireplace to the custom-built wooden floor-to-ceiling column, their craftsmanship is second to none. Kevin McCarthy and Company did a major renovation on my 25 year old townhome. Two complete bathrooms and two partial baths, plus a host of other cosmetic improvements. They were great to work with, great at solving obstacles and problems as they arose, as things do in an older home. Their work was excellent and the follow-up was quick and efficient. Great imagination and creativity.

The services that McCarthy and Son Contracting provided were excellent. Over 15 years ago they remodeled my upstairs bathroom. So when we were ready to remodel the bathroom in our bedroom, guess who we called. Again, the service and quality of the workmanship was just what we expected!!!! McCarthy and Son was hired to perform a complete renovation on an old Farm house I recently purchased. Kevin McCarthy and his crew are highly skilled and very knowledgeable, and I found them extremely easy to work with. As a Quality professional myself, I can honestly say that the work performed by McCarthy and Son and their sub-contractors was above and beyond anything I could have expected. Not only did they do some fantastic and beautiful work, they did it on schedule and in budget. It was an absolutre pleasure working with Kevin and his team, and I would jump at the chance to work with them in the futurre.

We were pleased to work with a contracting company so professional. Although our job was small, this company really proved to the customer that "no job was too small". It involved painting pillars surrounding a wrap-around porch. The job was completed in the time promised. Materials used were of high quality. The contractor did his work with pride and even went beyond and painted items that needed it and were not included, The work was excellently done. We were confident to acquire his service again to repair a roof problem A repeat satisfied performance! We would highly recommended this contractor.

We love everything that McCarthy and Son have done for us. In our home in Potomac, Md. they redesigned and reconfigured our master bedroom and bathroom. Our master suite looks amazing it looks like a model home. In our bathroom, arches, columns, tray ceilings and back lighting look luxurious with the tile designs and granite. We were so thrilled with their work they we had them redesign all of our other bathrooms. They look fantastic and were done with a very reasonable budget. The next year we had them design a family room in our unfinished basement. It looks so great that we do most of our entertaining down there, it is hard to believe that area used to be our basement. We love the way the door going to the basement is glass, and all the recessed spot lighting make the area bright and cheery. As I am writing this now, I have arranged for McCarthy and Son to work on our beach house in Ocean City, Md. next week. They will be designing and installing glass tiled backsplash for the kitchen and adjoining bar area. Yes, they are great!!!! 5 stars it is :)

He replaced windows and doors as well as interior repairs after storm damage. They fixed it better than it was before the damage happened .

McCarthy and Son designed and constructed an addition to our home. From concept to planning to acquiring permits the project flowed very smoothly. The addition included a new kitchen, dinning/bar area and rec room. They kept our existing structure, kitchen included, livable and protected from the elements during the whole process. I am a construction manager at a major mid-Atlantic university and I can state that their quality of the work is second to none. From excavation to footings to framing to the interior design and its execution this is a first rate project. I would recommend McCarthy and Sons to anyone without reservation.
