Went through a huge remodel, basically overhauled our entire house... and Larry and his crew were wonderful. Larry was always responsive through the whole process and took care of everything. He was also flexible with adjustments and able to answer all my questions. Absolutely love our new home.

If i could give 10 stars i would. McGee Construction exceeding my hopes and expectations. Everyone was approachable, polite, clean, prompt and efficient. Larry checked almost daily and addresses all my questions. He went way above the norm on everything. He provided me with excellent referrals for blinds and other incidentals. Without reservation i would recommend McGee Construction to anyone who wants an excellent, efficient and timely job done.

We recently moved into our 1200 sq. ft home that was built from the ground up by McGee Construction of Brea. We are very pleased with the end product and would recommend the company, under the ownership of Larry McGee, General Contractor, for any construction needs. Larry was professional and very knowledgeable throughout the project. He was responsive to any questions or concerns we had and communicated clearly. Larry did a good job telling us what was going to take place in each phase of the construction which was very helpful since we were not familiar with the process. He gave us suggestions based on his years of experience, but did not pressure us to take his advice. He was willing to do what we asked during the build, even if it required a change from the original plan. He stayed with the original bid and if there were any additional costs due to changes, he informed us prior to the change so we were not caught by surprise or had to pay something we did not approve in advance. The sub-contractors he used were experienced in their area of construction and he only used those he has worked with on multiple jobs. They were always courteous and respectful and cleaned up after they were finished. Larry or David (his second-in-command) visited the job site often to monitor the ongoing work to ensure the project was being completed as promised. There were “hiccups” along the way, which is to be expected in construction, but our concerns were always addressed promptly and appropriately for the issue. Larry took responsibility for any challenges and made sure all the sub-contractors completed their portion of the project efficiently and to our satisfaction. Although going through new house construction can be difficult, Larry made it a positive experience overall and we love the home we have. Thank you Larry and staff for working for and with us!

We used Larry and his team to remodel the downstairs of our house. We removed multiple walls and changed some plumbing around. The job was done in a timely matter, the work was done to perfection. If I needed work like this done again, I would not hesitate to call McGee Construction. Thank you Larry!!

I cannot recommend Larry/McGee Construction highly enough. We hired Larry on the recommendation of friends after our condo flooded due to a plumbing mishap in our building. We basically had to rebuild the place from scratch. Larry (and all of his employees and subcontractors) was fantastic throughout every aspect of the process. He's extremely responsive and knowledgeable, and referred us to great vendors who helped us make the dozens and dozens of choices we suddenly had to make. He even met us at the stoneyard/flooring vendor to help us pick materials. He was also more than willing to work with a good friend of mine who was able to provide cabinets at cost. All of the work came out great, and on budget. We couldn't be happier.

I highly recommend Larry and his crew. From start to finish Larry made me feel like my project was his highest priority. I bought my house in March and did a fairly substantial remodel, including adding a master bedroom and bath. Larry was always conscious of my budget and helped me stay close to it. His subs were great and especially his finish carpenter ,Blake. Although my time frame was off and the project took longer than I had anticipated, Larry was always on top of the workers and was very present throughout my project. He was always reachable and on site almost every day. The fact that it took longer than I thought was fine because in the end I got my dream house.

McGee construction has done multiple jobs for us, all with positive results. Their staff is friendly, does good work and leaves the job site clean. I'd highly recommend McGee Construction for any size job.

McGee Construction has done general repairs to major remodels for me since 2008. They provide detailed bids and time frames in which to complete the job. They have worked in occupied and vacant homes for me and are respectful to the home and homeowners.

Larry McGee was great to work with. He understood the project, delivered in a timely manner, and worked with us to accomplish our plans. We lived out-of-state, and he managed everything beautifully, along with our fantastic realtor. The 6-week project culminated with our daughter's wedding at the house! I've worked with a number of General Contractors in the past as an Interior Designer and Realtor. I would have to argue the McGee Construction is the BEST and one of the most professional companies I've worked with. Larry (owner) is extremely easy to get along with and delivers an exceptional product at fair prices. His knowledge and expertise in residential construction and remodeling is far more extensive than most contractors I've worked with and I would highly recommend him for any project, large or small!
