We had a great experience working with Michael. He did an amazing job designing our landscape — it feels fresh and natural but still fits perfectly with the historic look of our home. We liked how they used local plants that look beautiful and are easy to maintain. We explored various options and made sure everything worked with the space and the overall feel we wanted. It was great he also coordinated lighting, irrigation, tree removals, purchasing and installation. The end result is gorgeous. It feels like the garden has always been there. Highly recommend!

Michael was wonderful helping us re-design our backyard with a new pool. He worked with us on the design and pool location along with new landscaping for the entire backyard. He kept in contact with the pool company and us throughout the whole process and helped ensure the pool was installed correctly. Everything looks beautiful and the backyard also smells amazing with all the flowering plants that are thriving.

Hired Michael from his reviews on Houzz and his response time on our initial request for proposal. He took his time and visited our house several times to make sure he had all the info on the site and our vision for the project. His design was what we were hoping for and was very patient with us as he looked for a specific tree. He recommended a tree trimming service who were very professional and a lighting guy who did great.

We hired Michael at Plantaysia to do a design for our backyard patio which had space limitations and was a rather unkempt jungle. Not only did Michael come up with great ideas that matched our view of what we wanted, but he implemented the plan in an efficient and economic manner. Plus he was very skilled at working with the Condo personnel and accommodating rather exacting condo rules. We continue to be told that our landscaping is the nicest in our area. The quality of the work was excellent and Plantaysia had been very good about updating and tweaking the garden over the past three years.

Michael Thiel has done various jobs for me in Miami, Spain for both business and for me personally. I work in hotel business so this is an important part of our presentation and image. Each time we are exactly on budget and on time and each time he has exceeded my expectation on every level. From a design point of view and from a practical point of view. I would recommend Michael to anybody who considers him. Michael is extremely knowledgable but also fun to work with getting the best out of people working with him without a shadow of a doubt.
