One of the best do-it-yourself experiences ever! Got quick response to a pre-order question and frame arrived in perfect condition, with everything needed to transform our 1957 dining room mirror into a more contemporary piece. Great company, great product!

I have installed two Mirror Mates frame and in both instances, overall I am satisfied. One, the Venetian Silver Wave, looks high end and is beautiful. I will share the pros, cons and a couple of tips. First, the pros. I needed customer service assistance with both orders as well regarding a few isdues and was happy not only to encounter live humans, but also that they were very responsive and helpful. The several videos available online are very useful. Though both of my mirrors were very large and installed in somewhat confined spaces, I was able, with a little finagaling, to install them without a helper. Assembly was a breeze. In both instances, the frames definitely made a difference and the result, with such a minor addition, is pretty amazing. The cons. The first, and most expensive, of my two frames, arrived damaged as there were two chips in the paint along one edge and, on one corner, a small part of the wood was chipped off. Because I did not want to go through the hassel of reordering and waiting several more weeks for a replacement, I was able to glue one paint chip back into place. For the other paint chip and the wood chip, I dabbed on a little matching silver metallic paint. Customer service provided only a very minimal, token refund. I was told their policy is to replace the damaged part of the frame. However, waiting for replacement parts would have been inconvenient and annoying, given I had already waited a considersble time to receive the original frame. If you don't like visible seams, this is not the product for you. For me, they are clearly visible but it's not a deal breaker. The replacement mirror clips were useless. They actually were more of an obstruction than the original plastic clips and the round padding didn't even make contact with the mirror. On each frame, the white paper that needs to be removed from the double sided tape failed to release easily and cleanly. Tips. Do watch a few videos and read all of the instructions first. For the stubborn white paper, using a tweaser to grab corners was helpful. Note, it appears the plastic white connectors have changed and look and install a bit differently than the ones in most videos. Until I realized this I was confused and thought I had received the wrong parts. If you need it fast, cough up a few more bucks for expedited 2 day shipping. Otherwise, be prepared to wait about 3 weeks. Regarding the glue, a little goes a long way. If you over do it, you will just have more to clean up after. Though there have been a few issues, overall I'm satisfied and plan to purchase a third for my medicine cabinet.

Its a great product and is easy to put up. It added a world of difference in the bathroom and now does not look like a contractor stuck a mirror on the wall and left. Now I did incorrectly take a measurement but the customer service folks were great and helped me get the right size quickly. It all went together in 30 mins taking my time and allowing a bit of glue to dry. I'll be ordering 2 more for the other bathrooms. It sticks very well and would be hard pressed to ever see it get loose.

These frames add the finishing touch to any mirror! We purchased them for every bathroom in our house. They add such a sleek, elegant look to any bathroom. We had an issue with an order, and Geralyn (Customer Service) responded quickly and professionally to resolve it. Will definitely purchase again when needed!

I ordered Mirror Mates for two bathrooms. I followed the measuring instructions exactly but when I received the product I was not happy with how the edge hung over the countertop. I called the company and talked to Geralyn. She worked with me, understood my concern, helped me adjust my measurements and re-did part of my order at a reduced rate. The second order came very quickly and we installed it immediately. Keep in mind that if you want your MM trim the be even with your countertop put “0” on the order form for that side. Also, their customer service department is great, call if you have any questions. They are very knowledgeable and eager to help and make you happy with your purchase.

I updated my boring bathroom's medicine cabinet with a MirrorMate frame. I picked the Pemaquid. It changed the look of my bathroom overnight and covered up the chipping silver edge of my old mirror, so it looks brand new. It's a quality material, reasonably priced and installation was super easy. Highly recommended.

This product is a great idea, but the customer takes on significant risk with any order. You have to get the measurements exactly correct, and you have to be absolutely sure that the style and finish will work in full size for your placement. Unfortunately there are no refunds or even partial refunds. In my case, I ordered a sample of several frame styles and even did ok on the measurements. But the small sample you receive turned out to be a poor representation of how the finished product would look full size. The finish on the final frame I received looked really cheap/cheezy - and wasn't something I was willing to put up in my bathroom to look at every day. It had a plastic-wrapped look vs that of a painted finish. So I'm $200 in the hole......and Mirror Mate would not allow even a partial refund or a credit. To me, when quality is an issue - the company should stand behind their product. So my advice to those considering this product is: Buyer Beware.

We have been mulling over what to do with a huge mirror in our master bath. The mirror is almost 10' by 4'. We found mirror mate through a google search and decided it was worth a shot. After a very easy online ordering process, the frame was at our doorstep in a few short days. We were able to put it up in under two hours total with drying time! The total installation took no more than 10 minutes.
