My original internship was 7 years with internationally recognized Chicago Loop architecture and engineering firms… With yearly on-going continuing education courses taken on the campus of The University of Wisconsin – Madison, College of Engineering; in order to meet all requirements of the Wisconsin Examining Board’s Continuing Education mandate for “Design Professionals” license renewal. For decades, Michael J. He has always been very knowledgeable about all phases of the building industry. It is my opinion that it is essential that someone who truly cares about and understands the science of building is the person making these important decisions. Do it once, do it right, Michael Till has a history of doing just that.

Mike Till walked the property and situated the house to take advantage of the passive solar energy from Dawn to Dusk. He used local building elements: Door County stone, cedar, birch and cherry. Our home is warm and inviting. Ultimately Mr. Till delivered a splendid place for us. After moving to our home year-round, we put on two additions which were also designed by Mike. We enjoy a home that is ideal for entertaining yet comfortable for the two of us. We have dramatic 360 degree views, versatile kitchen, elegant dining room and overall country-related living area fit for our lifestyle perfectly. We couldn't be happier we chose Mike Till.

Mike did an outstanding job in planning and managing a large vacation home restoration project for us. He provided an cost estimate, which turned out to be very accurate. He was also very helpful and communicated well during the project, keeping us appraised of the progress, which was very good given the fact that we live far from our vacation home. The project involved the restoration of an old home (almost 100 years old). We wanted to keep the character of the home while upgrading the majority of the systems. Mike was an excellent communicator, and was able to clearly outline the progress of the project. When issues arose (which are inevitable when you are restoring a 100-year-old home), Mike was able clearly describe our options and help guide us through the decision making progress. He was outstanding.

We have had Michael Till manage a number of projects in our municipality. He has contributed invaluable service and leadership to the work we have had him do. He has worked on new and remodeled buildings, for which his knowledge and insight has resulted in minimum to no issues once the project has been completed and after years of use. His knowledge of construction and engineering methods is equal to or greater then anyone I have experienced over the years. Projects he has managed for us have met timelines and been completed within budget. His ability to wade through the myriad of Federal requirements on our post office project kept our heads above water during and after construction. He is straightforward in his communication with his clients and workers he is supervising. He is more than willing to share his knowledge with his clients so they have an understanding of how and why practices and procedures are implemented in a project. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for engineering expertise--the results would in my estimation surely satisfy any customer he would service.

I have been in the banking business in Door County Wisconsin for over forty years and have had the pleasure of working with Michael J. Till Associates on a number of projects both personally and professionally. Michael J. Till Associates designed and had built a second home for my family in Fish Creek, Wisconsin. Mike guided us through the whole process from start to finish including consultation, design, engineering, contracting, and construction management. The whole process went extremely well and within budget. The finished project was rustic in nature and fit beautifully on to our wooded lot. Over the years Michael J. Till Associates were hired on two separate occasions by my employer upon my recommendation to build a branch bank in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin and Ellison Bay, Wisconsin. In both cases they provided all the same services as outlined above. These banks were efficiently designed, structurally sound, and compliment the rustic nature of these two communities extremely well. I have had numerous compliments on all three of these buildings and would highly recommend Michael J. Till Associates to anyone looking for their services.

The best! Very thorough. Hired initially to do a building inspection on a property we were considering to buy. All deficiencies were pointed out and explained in detail. He answered all our questions and his professional knowledge is an asset. We bought the property and he became our consultant in the design and remodeling this property. He provided blueprints of his vision how the property could be improved. He provided numerous suggestions and we made final decisions based on his recommendations. He then was put in charge of the remodeling crews and closely supervised their work and took care of problems regarding their quality of work and dealt with suppliers for the project. He analyzed and found a solution for a problematic roof leak in the newly built sun room. He is very persistent in following through with detail and does an excellent job finding solutions to problems that develop. I would recommend him to anyone. If you want someone who will work with you closely, find solutions to your problems and can give you expert advise, Mike is the one to call.

I have a ranch type home in Wisconsin and I wanted to update my home and renovate it to be compatible to the land it was on. In doing so, I looked into different professionals and came upon Michael. I was given an excellent review of Mike's history, expertise, and background. I liked Mike's approach very much when I met him. We had some similar ideas with what we wanted to do with the building. I followed his lead, he took my input and did everything to code as economically as possible. He did an excellent job, the renovation was wonderful and everything turned out great. Mike is more than a designer/architect, he’s a structural engineer, very well educated and is always up to date with techniques in the industry. I was willing to pay for quality and that's what I got. He demands a very fair price for his services and it's worth it. Mike is very conscientious and observant and knows a lot of people in the area that are qualified subcontractors. He has a way of doing things, knows what the job entails, and how to approach a project. He did everything to my satisfaction and I would recommend him to anybody.

Our home is structurally sound, with no problems in all those years. Mike is very specific and expects everyone he works with to follow his plans explicitly.
