My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

About Us

Tierra Del Lagarto is a family owned and operated furniture and accessories store in North Scottsdale. Our 12,000 square foot showroom is brimming with finds from our travels around the world. From upholstery to dining sets, bedroom pieces, and patio furnishings, there is truly something for every room in and out of the home. Travelling and hand-sourcing our goods as a family is our real passion. Every year we go to India, Morocco, Turkey and Indonesia, and we are always trying to cram another country in when we can. Working one on one with artisans and villages all over the world connects us to our products. There is so much pleasure in finding an unusual artifact and making it available for our customers at home. We have met so many wonderful people in our travels over the years, and sharing their stories with our ever-interested clients is a true joy.

I have sourced Tierra Del Lagarto furniture, art and accessory pieces for years. As a design professional it is one of my favorite retail design showrooms to visit for inspiration and to find unique interesting accessories which adds a soulful humanistic touch to any space. From exotic carved panels to patterned silk pillows the proprietors spend tireless hours traveling and hand selecting items from around the globe that will add the perfect touch of whimsy or International inspired sophistication.

Unique, unexpected, memorable, tasteful, and "wow- factor" worthy - when those are my needs for a design project....Tierra is a top stop! Not only is their merchandise a wonderful mix of color, texture, and design, the masterminds who put all of this together are wonderful professionals. I have used Tierra for my project sourcing for almost 9 years and it has always been a positive experience - from walking in the door, collecting items for a project, and the inevitable loading into the car.. they are always by your side to assist!! Jerry, Linda, and Meg have assembled a talented staff from the gang on the retail front to the guys in back who make it "move" - I need them all! My projects shine because of the diverse furnishings and accessories that they consistently supply!

Tierra Del Lagarto is my "go-to-place" in AZ in particular for North African furnishings and home decor. They also have the best selection of Opium Beds I have seen even compared to shops in California! Great sourcing and good quality. Thank you for bringing us beautifully crafted pieces.
