Discovery Design is absolutely fabulous!! Danny knew exactly what I wanted and that's what she designed. Karl is so creative with his tile work. Their crew is wonderful but one stands out. Her name is Jen. She's a perfectionist and does most of the finish work. I LOVE my house. They worked with me still living in it. I got moved around a lot. This team made Covid easier to deal with. When they were finished I complained how quiet it was. I miss them. Covid slowed things down a bit. Factories closed and things took longer than expected. We got through it. Claudia Murray

I feel so lucky to have been referred to Danny Ferguson as an architect. I wanted to do a whole house renovation, on a house that had been a year-round rental for over 20 years. The house had been neglected and was in major need of repair. Danny came in with great ideas on how to maximize the space and help me turn this into an amazing vacation rental property. She completely understood what I wanted and delivered it with the first draft of the floor plans. No changes at all! We worked well together on the design, and she has amazing resources and materials that I had never seen before. Once it was time to start construction she brought in Karl, her husband, contractor and business partner. Together they brought in other tradesmen that were outstanding. Everyone was incredibly professional and dedicated to make this the best house it could be. I have complete trust in Danny and Karl and the work they do. I live 700 miles away and wasn’t onsite during most of the project. They kept me informed throughout the entire process and kept my mind at ease. I’m an interior designer, and have worked with many different contractors and tradesmen, I can say Danny, Karl and the team they have put together are the best I’ve seen. I highly recommend them for any project.

Adore Dani, Karl & Gilberto! They remodeled our master bath this month. They provided great options and ideas to keep the cost at a reasonable level. This being the first time for a remodel, we were clueless about the process; they were so patient providing ideas and solutions. They are extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of construction. Karl is very meticulous about laying tile which I very much appreciate. If you are planning on having tile in your construction I recommend that you bring them in. They are very professional, cleaned up after each day of work, and explained processes. If I could figure out how to upload pictures, I would. We are planning future remodels and will continue to hire them forever.

Discovery Design gutted and recreated a brand new wheelchair accessible bathroom in our home. It looks beautiful and classy; it does not look, "handicapped". I was particularly pleased with the stone floor in our "roll in" shower. Danny and Karl were easy to work with: they arrived when expected and did the work that they said they would do. They took the time to come up with a good plan. They had good advice about choosing materials and fixtures. We felt very comfortable having them in our home. They consulted us at every necessary point. And the end result is better than expected. We are very pleased and would happily work with them again!

karl and Dani remodled a bathroom for me. They were easy to work with, showed me possibilities I hadn't thought of and gave me a beautiful, spacious bathroom where i once had a crowded one. in the middle of this project, my husband had a stroke. They sqweezed me in to their busy schedule to create a beautiful handicapped bathroom in our tiny Master bath. When we arrived home from a long stay in the Bay area, my husband had a bathroom he could use with a wheel chair I will always remain grateful p.s. The work is so professional!

I can't say enough about Danny & Karl, Owners of Discovery Design. Danny as the designer is very knowledgeable of all materials that go into home projects from fabric for furniture to lighting and especially Tile. I'm a cabinet maker. We have worked together on many, many projects. She has a great eye for proportion. When design ideas clash with building constraints, she's exceptional at problem solving . Always with the clients interest in mind. Karl as the tile, remodel contractor is skilled on all levels. He can take the projects all the way through, from demolition to reconstruction. His finished tile work is beyond compare. Danny and Karl as a team bring a lot to the table. As a client of theirs you can expect and receive the best in design and workmanship....Can't say enough!

Danny and Karl are a perfect team of architect and contractor. We just had our kitchen totally remodeled by Discovery Design and our new kitchen is absolutely stunning. Danny and Karl are easy to work with and very professional. I highly recommend them to anyone wishing to build or remodel. This team turned my nasty kitchen into a space I smile at every time I look at it. The architect part of this team guided my decisions about the space and finishes gently, and knew better than I did what I wanted. We decided to put in an archway with a half wall and a wall that enabled me to easily remodel and enlarge a bathroom near the kitchen. The tiler/contractor part of this team turned it all into reality. They knew the best cabinet shop to use (Forbes) and went out of their way to acquire the tile I had to have.
