New Leaf Construction

We renovated our house in Cape Coral top to bottom choosing New Leaf Construction - Candi and Troy - as our contractor. To make a long story short: They gave us an amazing renovation experience from start to finish. Here are a couple of reasons why we would choose them in a heartbeat for a new project. 1. Candi and Troy have been very responsive. In the planning phase we went through multiple optimization iterations in a matter of few days. They followed op on questions immediately and provided solutions. 2. Transparent offer with detailed cost on all individual items allowed to customize the offer to our budget and get the most bang for the buck. 3. Most importantly delivery on time and budget. Troy developed a schedule for the massive renovation (essentially only the walls and roof remained) and hand over was on the promised day! 4. Progress report during renovation. Candi sent us every day during the renovation pictures on the progress. As we are living 650 miles away from the construction site, this was very helpful and established a high level of trust. We only visited the construction site twice and the second time for the hand over. 5. Immediate support in handling a few fixes after hand over. During our 3 first visits a few things needed to be addressed. A call to Troy was sufficient. He mostly showed up or had somebody take care of things in a matter of a few hours. As one can tell we appreciated Candi‘s and Troy‘s work. This was certainly the best renovation experience we had in 35 years. Sounds almost too good to be true. We have used New Leaf for 4 or 5 projects. New Leaf is absolutely the best contractor we have ever worked with. Their attention to detail, workmanship and staying on time is superlative. They always communicate exceptionally well, and are completely honest and trustworthy. We have no problem having them work in our house when we are absent. Their design sense is also top of the line. We would not work with any other contractor!!!

We hired Candi & Troy on recommendations from others in our subdivision, and are we ever glad we did !! After we had already decided on the scope of the work, Candi arrived with her job folder that outlined a time line showing what would happen and when. They are so organized and their attention to detail is exceptional. Our project involved a completely new kitchen, new tile, a new wood floor in our Florida room, a new hurricane screen, and a lanai makeover. The lanai work involved removing and filling in the spa and planters, adding tile and a new cage. All of the work was overseen by Troy who made sure it was what we were expecting. Troy took pictures of the progress, emailing them to us, and always keeping us in the loop. During the job, Hurricane Irma paid us a visit which would have derailed most projects. Not so with our project as completion was only one week beyond what was on Candi’s original flow chart. All in all they did what they promised, did everything on time, and delivered an extremely high quality product.

They start and finish on-time- a remarkable quality these days. They have orchestrated our home renovations which included bathroom, kitchen, wall removal, window replacement, lighting, flooring and our back deck.They remain our go-to company when we update any facet of our home. Troy and Candy Hilton of New Leaf Construction met with us and helped us plan a partial kitchen renovation. We kept our cabinets and flooring. We had new quartzite counters and stone wall tiles installed. I was lacking storage space and Troy suggested a built-in which is beautiful and gives additional storage. We also replaced all our appliances, sink and faucet. New Leaf and their sub-contractors were always professional. We plan to do another project with New Leaf in 2017!

We cannot begin to express how happy were were with New Leaf Construction's remodel of our master bath! Everything from the design phase through project completion was handled perfectly with great attention to detail and our needs. Candi provided great suggestions and managed the project better than any Project Manager that we have dealt with in the past. She provided us with a detailed schedule so that we would know when to expect milestones and that timeline was followed to the letter with no surprises. Troy as a General Contractor was absolutely wonderful and was on site constantly during each phase of construction to assure that everything was done properly and to our satisfaction. If any unexpected issues arose durning the remodel Troy always had a quick solution and we were never left to wonder “what are we going to do?”. Because of Candi and Troy’s knowledge and professionalism we were actually able to enjoy ourselves during the project instead of stressing over any details. Both my wife and I feel that if you are considering a remodeling project, you couldn’t do any better that Candi, Troy and New Leaf Construction!

Saw New Leaf Construction name just by accident while looking on this site for some tile ideas. Had to comment about Troy and Candy and agree with all the positive reviews. I usually don't bother with stuff like this but felt necessary. They designed an outdoor bbq for me. Mike Basso

We chose New Leaf Construction because they helped us to make our kitchen what we had visioned. Troy and Candi listened to what we had dreamed of for our kitchen/family room project and helped to make it come true. This project was done when we were not there and Troy was very diligent about sending photos of updates on the project almost daily. Candi was well organized from lining up visits for material choices to keeping detailed records of the project. The subs that they used were professional and offered suggestions when necessary. The project was completed in a timely manner, a slight cabinet hitch, not their fault but they did their best to keep our project on schedule. I would recommended for any remodel project.
