Very professional and friendly. I hired Newton Carpenters to do some interior custom trim work in our family room. They did a great job in very short time. I would recommend them to anyone. Greg has a lot of great ideas and is happy to give you his opinion if asked.

I hired Greg at Newton Carpenters to replace rotting trim around the windows at my house prior to its sale. The work he did was excellent, he was timely and his price was very fair. I highly recommend Greg and his team for any and all carpentry work.

Newton Carpenters remodeled a bathroom, installed hardwood floors and crown molding in our house - Their work was exceptional, they had great ideas on the remodel, worked very well with us & made sure everything was to our satisfaction. Also, their price fit right within our budget. When I have another project, I will definitely call them; it can be a challenge to find a good and trustworthy contractor - they were awesome to work with.

I hired Newton Carpenters to replace some columns on the front of my house. They were great at finding quality upgraded columns and making it look just the way I wanted it. I was impressed by their ability to find solutions to problems that came up since this job was not just a simple replacement. Would highly recommend for a similar project.

Greg Newton and his crew just did work in my home in Chester, CT and even though he is quite young, his craftsmanship and professionalism far surpassed many of the other carpenters that has crossed my door. Hopefully he will post photos of the 100 + year old beams his installed, my 200 year old doors and framing my horse painting with barn siding. His attention to detail is just as anal as mine and they even cleaned up late at night during a snow storm! He should really be an architect with his knowledge. And no, he is not a relative or a friend (yet) :). Elizabeth

Amazing work. Crew is punctual and friendly. They did a wonderful job. Highly skilled and great attention to detail. They installed a new double oven into an existing cabinet. The project required the cabinet to be modified. The new wood pieces were fit and stained perfectly to match. The project came out stunning. They sub-contracted new stone counter-tops and I was very happy with the company they chose to work with. They installed a new sliding glass door and handled all applicable paperwork and permits. They also did finish framing on a window and were very accurate and precise with the finished wood work. Beautiful work all around. I will be calling them in the future for additional remodeling projects.

I cannot say enough about Newton Carpenters. We had interviewed and gotten estimates from about 4 or 5 contractors and decided to go with them for our major kitchen renovation. Right from the beginning, Greg came over and listened to our vision-met with us frequently, brought samples to see if we were in sync and on the same page. He is extremely professional and hard working. He was respectful of our time and asked from the start when he could stay until and what time he could arrive, and if he could come on weekends!! He brought either one or two guys with him (plus the other specialty contractors that he brought in) who we got to know and like very much also. My kids were sad to see them leave. I tell my friends that these guys worked like a team of 15 people. For the amount of work that was done in my house, walls knocked down, floors put down thru almost the entire downstairs, lighting, plumbing, down drafts put in for stove. Large reinforments beams had to be put up to hold up the house and they had to pour concrete footings in basement. - This is of course only touching on some of the things they had to do. They completed the project in about two months which I think is unheard of. What is amazing about Greg and hard to find these days is his talent as a cabinet maker/carpenter. He is not just a contracter, he is an artist as well. I wanted old beams in my house and he made replications in his workshop that are unbelievable. They took days of hand scraping , chipping, banging, putting wormholes in and staining. These beams look like the real deal. The guys were clean and as I stated above super great to have around. I never had to worry about leaving my kids or the alone. Danielle, Greg's wife was our communicater and behind the scenes runs the Newton Carpenter operation very smoothly and seamlessly. She arranged all communication for sub-contractors. Gave us suggestions, set up payments, Another thing that was truly amazing in working together with Newton is that we formed a relationship which I think tends to happen in a larger project. What I mean by that is that, Greg wanted to be fair to us and we did to them when coming up against unforeseen snags that always happen in a large project. We will ALWAYS use them for every project now, big or small, and I think that's what was so great, we were all in sync and knew that. Some contractors would try and get their extra money or have several projects going leaving people feeling frustrated.
