Integrity, professionalism and patience only just begin to describe our experience with Elisse and Niche Décor. After a disastrous renovation with a dishonest contractor and an equally unethical interior designer (who is on Houzz with positive ratings from colleagues and NOT from Customers by the way...), we were left with a shell of a house and not the home we had dreamt of. To say I was brimming with apprehension when I first walked in to the Niche showroom in Aurora would be an understatement, yet there was something in Elisse's warm and genuine greeting that offered some reprieve. After having Jean (the owner) and Elisse visit our home for an initial consultation where we discussed our needs and budget (now much more restricted), Elisse took the reigns and has shown her skill and talent in transforming our shell of a house in to a home. Our one-room design commitment has grown and I look forward to completing the entire home with Niche. After the immense disappointment we experienced with our previous designer, I have no words to express our gratitude to Elisse and the team at Niche Décor.

My husband and I downsized 3 years ago and we were unable to finalize the decor of our condo. We found Niche Decor and all of a sudden, after understanding what we needed as an atmosphere, they drew a plan of furniture, paint, accessories and it felt wonderful. The budget was kept in mind although we did add a few extras along the way! They are so professional and mostly, not intimidating at all which was our fear since our budget was quite small initially. I felt my small project mattered as much to them as it did me. We are awaiting delivery and completion in February. Can’t wait to see the results! Thank you.

Niche Decor provided design services for my home refresh. They were professional in their approach, on-time with delivery of a plan, flexible with reasonable changes and worked well within my budget. Niche Decor was recommended by friends. We were originally planning to replace 2 chairs but we ended up redoing several rooms in our house. We couldn’t be happier with the end results. Jean and Jordana were so professional and understood our taste right from the beginning and gave us several options for each room. The selection and the ability to customize things was great! The service and quality was outstanding and they made the entire project seamless. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Our new bungalow had great potential but the transitional great room felt like a bland, small space. Jordana and Jean met our challenge to create a warm, inviting space with an elegant but relaxed feel. The room now looks and feels exactly as we had hoped; feels larger than it is, and is now a "wow" space! Our project included upholstered pieces, tables, cabinets, rug, art and custom drapes; and they provided a vision and several options for us to select from throughout the design process. Their knowledge and insights were invaluable, and Jordana really invests herself in the sourcing process until every piece has been found and meets your objectives. We also did the dining room together, and with a custom table have maximized a small room so that we can host 12+ for a dinner party. The quality of the furniture is excellent. They worked almost exactly to our budget, and are also quick to resolve any issues that arise. Overall Excellent service, talented and down-to-earth designers, and a beautiful product offering.

Every once in a while, you run into a company that is completely rewarding to deal with. Unquestionably, Niche Decor is that company. From our initial meeting with Jean and Madyson, we were very pleased with the design vision that they had for our new place. After checking out both our soon-to-be-vacated house and the prospective empty condo - they put together an exciting and detailed floor plan. As downsizers, they were able to integrate some of our "legacy" furniture while suggesting new complementary pieces, new window coverings, upgraded lighting and a terrific colour scheme. Full marks to Ivana, who coordinated all kinds of things, including the reupholstering of some of the old stuff and the delivery of all of the new stuff. And finally, nothing goes smoothly without the guys who literally do the heavy lifting - Peter and Mario. They are a professional group from beginning to end. My wife and I give them a 10 out of 10, and would give them a Spinal Tap "11" if that were possible.
