We absolutely love our yard! It is unique and beautiful, a well thought out design based on our many preferences! Matt listened well to what we wanted and developed and greatly refined what we hoped for. The service included a site evaluation, soil conditions, drainage issues, the orientation of our yard for sun and shade, structures we wanted to hide and those we wanted to see and enjoy. The design is very detailed and easy to follow for a contractor or homeowner and includes instructions on soil amendment, irrigation, plant selection and locations, lighting, mulch, hardscaping, construction details with specific diagrams on the many critical steps. Outdoor Design Group are amenable to manage the entire project, help identify contractors or assist the homeowner to do their own installation. We were extremely pleased with the depth of knowledge of the team and all that we learned. I can't imagine a better plan, process, staff or final product. Our expectations were exceeded!

We had a complete redesign of our landscaping including replacement of a huge retaining wall. The designs were professional and easy to see the before and after. They pay great attention to details and are very knowledgeable. I love my new landscaping and have received tons of compliments.

Matt and Todd worked with me over the course of a year, developing a plan for our home that both incorporated the things that we desired and used their expertise. As well, Matt took on a project manager role that supported me as we hired a Landscaper and reviewed the work as it was going on. Their knowledge and professionalism are top notch!

Like most landscape architects, Matt is quite knowledgeable. But his great strength is his patience in trying to develop the plan matches the property owner's wishes and desires to what is reasonable for the site and budget. He keeps at it until the job is done. In our case, Matt finished our plan last year, but we put off implementing it until this spring. Unfortunately, a home building boom is now in full swing, so we couldn't couldn't find landscapers willing to take the time to even bid the job. We ran into Matt at a festival and he asked how everything turned out. We told him the problems we were having and within a couple of days, Matt had a landscaper lined up and even met with us as we all walked the property. How many landscape architects do you know who would be so invested in their clients success that they keep working the job even after their part is done and they have been paid.

Outdoor Design did an excellent job in planning and designing our landscaping project which turned our back yard into a little paradise. We enjoyed a professional service with detailed plans and gentle designer advises that resulted in a harmonic composition of natural stone walls and native vegetation. Outdoor Design Group (ODG) has re-designed and renovated the landscaping in two houses for us over the past four years, from design concept and plans to placing plant material and contractor oversight with final walk-through. We were very pleased with both projects: they looked great and were right on budget! The first project was an extensive renovation with a large deck and involved a combo xeriscape/turf concept. The second project was a xeriscape front yard that passed an HOA review in record time, because it was such a good design with thorough plans. We definitely recommend ODG for residential landscape projects. They follow through, listen to your ideas, and make sure all plans are well implemented.
