Paramount Woodworking was referred to us from a friend and we were not sure what to expect. We engaged in a full kitchen remodel and Jake and his team could not have helped us more. They took the time to meet with us numerous times, came to our house and did 3d model of our kitchen and spent lots of time with different designs until we were comfortable. Paramount is a complete full service company, from design to install and everything in between. They even came back and did things for us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We love our kitchen; we now have custom cabinets that are top quality and look amazing. I loved working with Paramount Woodworking. I would highly recommend them! We had two odd-sized bathrooms that needed new cabinetry. From the first meeting where we gave Jake our concept and our unusual specs, to the install and finish work, we couldn't be happier. The cabinetry is gorgeous; the attention to detail evident; and Jake's level communication and professionalism is stellar. Everything was done on time and at the budget we agreed upon. Tristan worked closely with us on the design of the custom cabinetry for our new home and made our ideas come to life. He created a custom kitchen, prep kitchen/pantry, tv wall, bar and sideboard and a master bath vanity. He worked out the intricacies of a pass through wall between kitchen and prep to achieve the function necessary in our combined kitchen space. He attended carefully to the design details needed for our downdraft vent in our 9 ft island. He was always accessible by phone, email and text and answered questions promptly as well. Our meetings in Paramount's shop were well planned with 3D renderings, material choices and problem solving and design recommendations by Tristan. I wanted an interesting variety of drawer fronts in our open plan kitchen, living and dining area to define the spaces and Tristan used my pictures and verbal descriptions to come up with great solutions. He coordinated with a walnut wood supplier to achieve the walnut cabinetry tops we wanted in our living area. Tristan and the whole Paramount crew were extremely professional and easy to work with during design, construction and installation. They truly are a custom shop but also recommended cost-saving options when appropriate, which we appreciated very much. We recommend them wholeheartedly !

Jake built our dream kitchen. He is easy to work with, complies with the schedule and budget and is always available by phone or email. Our kitchen design was very challenging. The kitchen is modern, has unusual look with glass doors all over and most of the lower cabinets contain drawers only. Jake used computer software to create design drawings and renderings. He found the manufacturer for the glass doors that looked exactly as we wanted and negotiated a good price. He built quality cabinets that matched the exact drawers that we wanted. He adapted the glass doors to be safely used, adding an internal protection panel. Paramount woodworking perfectly installed the kitchen on time. Countertop installers were impressed with the precise leveling of the kitchen. Every little detail was carefully thought through and implemented. All appliances were perfectly fit. The coffeemaker cabinet was build with a special ventilation chamber. Upper cabinets doors are electrically operated. The power supplies are hidden behind vented color matching panels. Jake resolved the challenge of the under sink drawer where we wanted to keep garbage bins. He used a power engine to help a heavy glass drawer carrying garbage bins to open with a little kick, and he modified the drawer box to go around the plumbing. Jake installed magnets for hidden drawers to stick to the main drawer and be opened with a single pull. As customers we had a general idea of what we wanted our dream kitchen to be. Jake made it happen.

Working with Jake from Paramount Woodworking was very easy from beginning to end! We told him we were looking for classic white cabinetry for our new-construction home (kitchen and bathrooms). He came to the space and measured, and worked with us to come up with a design that fit the space and helped to give our new home a custom look. All of the materials and paint used are high-end, including the soft close doors and draws, and we could customize as desired to fit our needs, such as adding a spice draw pull-out, and vertical storage for cookie trays and the like. He also helped us to design extra storage in our master bathroom by adding a vertical cabinet above the counter top. We were able to go down to the shop and see the different styles of doors and shades of white to narrow down exactly what we wanted. In the end, the cabinets we got were finished ahead of schedule by a few days, which was a great surprise, and the finished product looked better than we could have imagined. Jake's team went back to the house a few times to make sure everything was installed properly and finished any last details. All of the other contractors working on the house were very impressed with the cabinets, and kept saying we had the best kitchen in the neighborhood. We are very happy with the final product, and would absolutely recommend working with Paramount Woodworking!
