Here's how it works: You take your trailer in and receive a proposal for work. If you accept the proposal, you pay 1/2 down, and the other half at completion. My 17 ft trailer rebuild was estimated to take 5 weeks. Seven months later, nothing had been completed other than demo, and boy do I mean demo. The team is staffed largely by young people who are unskilled, accept, perhaps in the area of destruction. I suspect a lot of these kids are troubled, and Sean is giving them some sense of purpose. It's a lot like a halfway house. That'd be fine and great if they were actually performing up to standard. I believe it's possible that Sean can do decent work. However, those 2 dozen trailers sitting in his shop should make it clear that he has more work than he can get to in any reasonable amount of time. During the time my trailer was in his shop, I could see he continued to take on projects. Then it occurred to me: Collecting half of a job you never complete is pretty easy money. I picked up my trailer last summer without incident when it became clear that it was not going to be worked on. The roof is completely destroyed (demo removed some crucial support that was never replaced, so it sags), and the trailer floods when it rains. All in all it was an expensive lesson.

I'd like to note that I hardly ever write negative reviews, but as the weeks go by I get more and more upset about the issues that this business has created for us. This is my most honest account of our experience. I think other consumers should be aware: We dropped our trailer off in Fall of 2015 to get a number of things fixed: frame welding, aluminum belly repair, window replacement, floor replacement, bumper repair. We paid a considerable amount down and were expected to have the trailer back before Christmas. Christmas came around and the trailer had not been touched. Our parents went to the shop and paid for the window replacement as our Christmas gift. Over the course of the time our trailer was in the shop, we called the owner over 50 times to get information about the status of the job and calls were rarely answered or returned. In March of 2016 we found out we were expecting a baby and I finally snapped, knowing that we had to get the trailer done soon in order to be ready for our child. I called and left a message, literally crying and begging the owner to call me back and finish our trailer so that we would be able to fix it up in time. He texted us back and would only communicate via text from there forward. Long story short, we picked up our trailer in June 2016. The trailer is in worse condition than it was when we left it. The only thing we can see that has been done is removal of the rear floor (but not replacement) and a single small weld on the frame (we can't even tell if they did this weld, and if they did it could easily have been done in less than 30 minutes). The owner was not there (we assumed he had deliberately avoided us) and we were not required to pay the remaining balance because it was so obvious nothing had been done. The floor is missing in the back and the floor in the front was not replaced. The windows that our parents paid for are still missing and only one of the two was even provided to us (but not installed-furthermore it was a used window in bad shape, not even a new order). The belly is still torn up, and the back bumper is still separated from the shell. I am so disappointed and the stress of having to finish the trailer ourselves in 5 months during summer heat while I am pregnant is overwhelming. Not to mention we are out a large sum of money that would go a long way in helping us complete the project ourselves. I cannot begin to explain how sad and angry I am that this experience ended up being so very different from what we expected. This was supposed to be a fun adventure and now it's a huge project we are forced to tackle on our own at the most inconvenient time. We really liked the owner after we met him and thought he would be a great contact to maintain throughout the course of our project, but he ended up being so different in reality. We highly recommend that anyone looking for airstream repair go somewhere-anywhere else to get their work done.
