Working with Patty and her team has been a wonderful experience. Our project was a gut-rehab to a 25+ year old house and we brought Patty into the project near the start. She introduced us to a fabulous kitchen and bath designer who integrated their work with our architect's overall design. Patty also collaborated with our contractor to help create many of the finish details (molding, trim, flooring, lighting, paint, wall covering, etc.). When it came to interior design, Patty and her assistant designer, Kathy Sue, had a way of understanding our taste and desires, always offering us several options. Her fee structure was fair and purchasing furniture and accessories through her produced savings over retail. We would highly recommend her.

I cannot say enough good things about Isabelle Miller. It was my lucky day when I walked into Patti Downing Interiors and met Isabelle. Her professional knowledge and expertise of design produced an outstanding completion to our newly decorated home. I was impressed how she took into account our lifestyle and then added a fresh vision to our home. Thank you Isabelle you are a true professional and a pleasure to work with.

Patty Downing is special. She was highly recommended by a number of people, whom we trust. She met with us and made sure that she understood our goals and budget. She then worked with us in order to achieve those goals, being sure that we prioritized our projects. We have been pleased with everything that she has done for us. Patty works with a wonderful group of painters, wood workers, electricians, granite, tile, upholstery, etc. people who know that she expects excellence from them They clearly do not want to disappoint her, as they strive to fulfill her requests. She works well with all of them. Patty has beautiful taste but will not push her ideas on you if you should decide to go in a different direction from her original plan. She is flexible, thoughtful, patient and lovely in every way. Her impeccable character shines through from the first moment that you speak to her. I have come to think of Patty Downing a friend in the time that we have worked together and consider myself lucky to know and work with such a fine person.

Patty Downing interiors did a fabulous job helping us renovate and decorate our new home this past year. Patty understood what we liked, and helped us transform our home to reflect our lifestyle. Her exquisite vision and sense of style are apparent in every room. Patty, Kathy Sue and her staff are professional, knowledgeable and thoughtful of our choices and our budget.

Working with Patty is such a rewarding experience. Within a few meetings, I felt like we were old friends and with someone who had a depth of professional expertise. She is so skilled at finding materials that meet your hopes and dreams yet is totally flexible if you throw her a curve ball with something unexpected. She not only used sources and personnel that she has vetted and found to be meeting her expectations but also suggested outside sources that could provide some of the extras that helped complete the project. I also appreciated her sensitivity to costs; we had not given her a budget, per se, but I had expressed concern about costs getting out of control. That was needless because she showed me things that I felt were not only very much in the style I wanted but also surprisingly modest in cost. I also felt like our house was unique to us. I didn’t feel like someone was going to come in and know immediately that I had had Patty Downing Interiors help me. She actually help boost my own confidence in making the right choices which was a new experience- previously I was the 'Queen of regrets - did I do the right thing?’. Now I love going in our house because I feel such a sense of serenity and happiness.

Patty and her group have help us completely renovate our Florida home. She provided the architectural layout and modifications,selected all of the major furnishings ( tile, flooring, cabinets, and all furnishings), and she acted as our contractor and completely managed the project in our absence. Very professional and thorough and actually finished on time.

I love the interiors Patty has done for me. We have worked with Patty for over 20 years on our projects and she has been professional and easy to work with while always keeping an eye on our budget. Patty has been able to capture the feeling we wanted both in our Stuart and our Montana homes. In Montana she helped with the plans from the ground up and then decorated it. We wanted something sophisticated and comfortable with an urbane western feel. She was able to understand and facilitate the feeling we wanted. Most recently she has helped me select and furnish a leased property. Again it turned out beautifully.

My introduction to Katie Astras, a designer at the firm of Patty Downing Interiors, was a small project to choose accessories for a family room. She impressed me with her ability to listen and translate my ideas into a design that pulled the room together. I then hired her for an extensive remodel of a master bathroom and redecorating of the bedroom. She brought a fresh perspective to this project, helped with furniture design, lighting, flooring, and fixtures, helping me make alternate choices when necessary to stay within my budget. Katie is most professional, worked well with my contractor and suppliers; I would not hesitate to use her services again and highly recommend her.

My husband and I our building a new house. It has been a large project that we have been working on for almost two years. Patty has been guiding me from the beginning to now almost completion. She has taken my vision and helped me to see the possibilities. I found her invaluable when it came to colors and lighting. I would highly recommend her.

I have been working with Patty of Patty Downing Interiors for at least 20 years. She has always been creative and insightful as she helps me interpret "my look". She does all of this while staying within my budget guidelines. Whether we are choosing furniture, accessories or just paint colors, I can always depend on Patty to be professional & knowledgeable. My latest project was a furniture re-do of my living room. I gave Patty a picture of the look I wanted and she designed a room that my husband and I love. It is a living room that is well used.
