Mark at Plan Create Build was referred to me by a trusted friend in the home building industry. Nothing but good things to say after Mark completed my project. We started working together in Winter of 2016, and I received a building permit in May 2017 for the modern mountain vacation home -- 3 stories and just over 1500 square feet. Right on time, and still 2 months before I can break ground. When I came to Mark, I already had strong opinions and had done the initial design work. I knew what I wanted, but I needed him turn my designs and ideas in to buildable plans suitable for submitting for county permits. Mark was easy to work with and improved upon my initial designs. He helped me keep the plans "buildable," confirmed plan requirements and setbacks, resolved building department comments, and produced a set of final plans including elevations, floor plans, framing plans, and a site plan. He also worked with an engineer to make the changes required to support the heavy snow loads in the region where I'm building. Although we're 3 states apart, he was easy to work with by phone and by email. Never a problem. He set good expectations and stuck to our budget. An honest, creative, and hardworking professional. I'd use him again in a heartbeat.

Mark did a fantastic job designing a ground-floor master suite for our home. The design seemlessly expands the home incorporating our practical needs and his aesthetic sense. He worked quickly and efficiently. We definitely got more than our moneysworth.

Mark was excellent! We did an addition onto an existing older home, which presented distinct design challenges. It was important that the tie in be seamless and that we maintain the integrity of the original style. Mark helped us to think through the functional spaces that our family would need and the visual factors that would echo what we already had. He has an artist's eye and an engineers technical knowledge....the perfect combination for his role designing! He was prompt in his responses, gracious and professional always. Working with Mark is a pleasure. We met with him and went through possible designs and talked about various options. He drafted up a great sample plan with all the options we had talked about.
