Rebecca’s passion for design and culture began as a child, as she visited art museums and galleries with her mother, an art historian. Her exposure to interiors and fine art sparked a passion for exploring the ways that shape, texture, color and composition evoke an emotional experience. This interest in aesthetics and design led her to earn a BFA at Chicago’s International Academy of Design and Technology. In 2001, Rebecca founded GOGO Design Group to serve residential design clients in the Chicago area and throughout the Midwest. Rather than being recognized for a particular design style, she is known for designing spaces that are uniquely tailored to each homeowner’s preferences and daily lifestyle, resulting in rich, layered spaces that will embolden, energize and delight them for years to come. With honesty, integrity and trust at the core of how GOGO Design Group operates, Rebecca provides valuable insight, design expertise and personal attention as the unique vision for each client’s home is brought to life. Rebecca speaks often on design-related topics at consumer education events and B2B design/build conferences. Rebecca's assistance was ABOVE AND BEYOND my expectations. She worked with both me and my contractor to design the remodeling of my condo with special attention to my desires. With her assistance I was able to create a home I can LOVE for decades to come. Rebecca helped to design a layout that flows beautifully and which is very functional. The colors are beautiful and the materials are high quality. Rebecca introduced me to excellent people at Ferguson, ABT and at furniture stores and a custom closet vendor. She worked with these vendors to be sure I received items that met my need. She was generous with her time and knowledge. Thanks to her my project was completed and the cost did not exceed my budget. I highly recommend her....no one could have provided me with better assistance. Thank you Rebecca!!!!

We had never worked with a designer before Rebecca was recommended to us for our primary bathroom remodeling project. We knew pretty firmly what we didn’t want, but it was much less clear what we actually did want. Rebecca guided us through all the sometimes-overwhelming choices of tile, cabinets, fixtures, countertops, and paint. She listened to us, we trusted her, and together we crafted a room that is both calm and distinctive. Thank you, Rebecca!

Rebecca has a great eye, but more importantly she listened to what we wanted and incorporated her experience and knowledge of what works. Rebecca (Sensitive Information Hidden) at GoGo Design Group is a gem. I highly recommend her! She designed our new West Loop Condo with creativity and professionalism. We needed the floors refinished, a fresh coat of paint, furniture layout including purchasing new furniture and rugs, tile and wallpaper. We are thrilled with the outcome and can’t wait to work on updates to the bathrooms! She works quickly but thoughtfully and kept us updated on timing for everything.

How can I express the admiration and trust I have in Rebecca Pogonitz and GOGO Design Group! Rebecca was recommended by my outstanding painter, Anthony Giangrossi, and she was a perfect match for me! I was on a pretty tight budget but together Rebecca and I created a truly special place in my first ever owned home. Rebecca has a natural easy-going personality, which allows you to share your ideas with her even if they're a little out of the box. Rebecca put together wallpaper choices, paint colors and fixures based on my initial preferences and from there, we chose everything that satisfied my wishlist! As a lifetime renter, I was a bit hesitant to try color and statement wallpaper but I am so glad I let Rebecca's professional advice take the lead as everything turned out better than I could have expected! She was so in tune with what we discussed, she was able to pick a wallpaper for my kitchen that is not only beautiful, but holds a special significance for me! What an unexpected wonderful surprise! Not only does Rebecca make the process smooth and stress-free, but she is like having a good friend over to discuss ideas and visions! She made me excited for my new adventure into decorating! Highly recommended!!!
