I contracted Premier to install a large storm water drainage project at my residence. The project involved connecting all my roof gutters and sump pumps to a common drainage system which discharged to a 40' x 10' x 5' dry well. They did a great job installing the project as designed and did their best to minimize possible damage to existing trees as well as my yard. The job foreman was willing to take the necessary time to answer any questions that I had as the project progressed. Daily clean-up at the job site was great and at the end of job clean-up exceeded my expectations. My driveway and the street was power washed. Additionally my sales rep made frequent site visits during the project to assure things were going well and conducted a final walk through with me. I am confident in the work they did and would definitely consider them for any future landscaping or lawn maintenance projects I do.

It was a pleasure working with Mike B. We had a pretty big project — landscaping and patio upgrades! He listened to our needs and coupled them nicely with his knowledge of our area and yard and the “fan favorites” we were hoping to keep and add. Both the landscaping crew and the patio crew were thoughtful and professional. Our work was completed in late fall - - so its been extra nice to see Spring arriving and enjoying the new yard. The wood deck between our house and pool was showing its age, presenting an opportunity to enhance the yard with an outdoor kitchen and entertaining area. That part of the property presented some challenges. There are several elevation changes, and the three separate back entrances from the house are each at different heights. We had difficulty visualizing what was possible. The initial design concepts we received from other firms did not inspire us enough to move forward. Then we began talking with Mike Barcelos of Premier. He spent time getting to know us and the property and how we use it. Premier’s initial design was impressive. It made great use of the space and integrated well into the rest of the property. Premier really collaborated with us in going from concept stage to final design. Mike patiently answered all our questions, explained options, constraints, cost sensitivities, etc. in a way that allowed us to provide meaningful input and make sensible choices. The design team quickly generated and update 3-D renderings as the design evolved. There was great attention to detail, including things we hadn’t thought much about like drainage, electrical and lighting. Premier demonstrated an equally impressive construction capability. Steve Maltese is an excellent field supervisor. He managed the subcontractors and the field crew effectively. Everyone worked hard to complete the project on time despite plenty of bad weather. The crew was neat and organized and displayed a high level of craftsmanship. The build is very high quality. Budget expectations were met. We are very happy with our new stone patio and outdoor living space. We will be recommending Premier to our own friends without hesitation. A few before and after photos below. Working with Premier was night and day from any other landscaping / hardscape company we'd ever worked with. Based on the design phase and the professionalism of each person we met, I could tell this was going to be a very different experience. Our sales person took the time to understand what we really needed. He brought us great options to choose from and even made some suggestions that really made the project a 10+. We previously had a poured concrete slab as our front patio and Premier replaced it with a blue stone patio, reconfigured our boxwood hedge, added a built in bench, and it is now perfect! We recently had a friend over who just completed construction on a $3MM home and she commented that her landscaper told her that blue stone could not be installed with perfect 90 degree corners like ours is. When I asked our Premier rep about that he said, "that's because we take the time to cut each stone ourselves." That pretty much says it all!

As newcomers to Chicagoland we began looking for a design and landscaping firm and found Premier. Now that our first project with them has been completed, I am already certain I will never go with anyone else. The design of our front and backyard landscaping, the craftsmanship in building two brick patios and a walk-way was top notch. Could not recommend this company and crews highly enough.

Aaron visited the property, made a proposal and came in on budget and ahead of schedule. We had some carpentry work that was subcontracted out and they were equally profession, on budget, friendly and clean. The crew worked hard, cleaned up the street, and yard and was sensitive to neighbors and environment. Neighbors took note and are now contracting with Premier as well.

Premier did a GREAT job with our yard. It looks spectacular, and everyone was very professional. Fargo and Brian responded right away when we had any questions, and took care to make sure that everything was done according to the plan. It just looks so nice; we are very pleased.

I have used this group for years and they do an excellent job. My gardens, patio, planters and driveway are beautiful. Bryan Eastman is my architect. He has been professional, helpful, and is just a great guy. I would not hesitate to recommend Premier to anyone.

We recently completed our backyard patio with Premier and Eric Tharp as our landscape architect, Eric and the rest of the team did an excellent job. Eric and I had several conversations regarding what we wanted to do – he gave suggestions while still taking into account our requests and budget. We went through several modifications– with Eric’s guidance we ended up with a fabulous patio. He knew all along what would look right yet he worked to show us what we wanted and also what he was recommending. Without Eric’s guidance and honesty through the project the patio would look as perfect as it does now. The installation team was also fabulous, starting with Steve the Project Manager who showed up every day sometimes more – he was on his hands and knees measuring the grade, making sure the slope was completely accurate for water flow etc. Rafael and his crew did an amazing job – tending to every detail, they were concerned about the details like wetting the back of stones before installing, as well as the major ones like laying the perfect pattern of stones, taking into account the spacing between each stone. The crew showed up on time every day (including Saturday)– worked in the sweltering heat and took total pride in what they were doing. This group of gentleman truly worked as a team. Although Premiere is a bit more expensive than other companies we spoke to, after seeing the attention to detail and work that went into the patio it is absolutely worth it – We now know why almost everyone in Hinsdale uses Premier.

I have worked with Aaron Postma and his team at Premier for several years in a row while we continued a multi-year landscape plan for our backyard. Aaron listened to what I wanted, from my favorite flower color (blues/purples) to my desire for architectural interest with a new slate patio, pergola and fountain. He integrated all of our desires into the plan, and provided top notch installation and service. I have enjoyed my yard now through all four seasons, and love the changes of color and flower. The effect of a new park-like back yard resulted in our repainting our kitchen and removing window treatments so we could just look out and enjoy our property! Its everything I could have hoped for---privacy, elegance, interesting plant choices, spring flowering trees, and a beautiful place to entertain and enjoy. I write this as I sit out at my table in my yard, happy to say you won't be disappointed. This company is dedicated to integrity and service, and it shines through all of their employees. Best investment I have ever made in our home. I highly recommend this firm to anyone considering a landscape project. TOP NOTCH!

Premier Service designed and implemented an excellent landscape plan for our newly acquired vacant property adjacent to our home. They seamlessly blended the landscaping with our current property of which they also designed and implemented the landscaping a few years prior. We are very pleased with their level of service and eye for detail and continue to use them weekly to maintain our property.
