I just love their design and workmanship quality! I have personally visited some of their new builds and every time they have something new and stylish added to their designs. Especially love their kitchen and woodwork, and high sealing. They gave me a good price quote for my future home. Very satisfied with their customer service and definitely I will be choosing Prodigy Homes to build our next house.

The experience with Prodigy was terrible, almost from the first day. They provided us a layout of the home which indicated one of the bedroom sizes was significantly bigger than it actually was. We are not architects and we trusted Prodigy so we did not actually take a magnifying glass out to review the architectural plans; we reviewed the customer sheet, which he gave to us during our meeting, that clearly laid out the home and the sizes of each room. Our tile in all of our rooms was laid incorrectly and he refused to correct it. It was a mistake on their end and one that could have been remedied, even with an apology but we NEVER got one. Our grout had to be replaced THREE times, but he refused to correct the rest of the tile work that was awful such as, leaving jagged edges and filling chipped tiles with caulking. It is unfortunate that this was our dream and they made it awful because of their business practices and lack of communication.

This builder crushed my dreams and provided about the worst experience I could have imagined when building my new home and the nightmare continues 9 months later. Prodigy was great to deal with in the pre-contract phase but once we signed the contract to have them build our home, they changed their demeanor in a hurry. In my opinion, they did not pay any attention to finish details, displayed poor craftsmanship skills and actually damaged other aspects of the home that had already been completed. It took 6 months after moving in to get windows that didn’t have scratches re-installed which involved multiple visits and time away from work to coordinate this work to be re-done. The concrete was damaged by walking on it before it was cured in muddy boots which infused boot prints into it that will not come out despite assurances from them that it would pressure wash out. It took months to get Prodigy to finally admit fault on the concrete damage despite proof being provided. The wood floors were not protected during the latter part of construction and suffered marks, stains and scratches. Paint brushes were washed out in my brand new granite sink and paint was poured into our sinks and into our septic. Rather than removing all the construction debris as stated in the contract, during the Final Grade process, they pushed it under the ground and covered it up with dirt. I had to dig a lot of it up and demand that they come back and remove it. I’m still encountering construction debris to this day as I work on putting in my yard. Despite Prodigy claiming in their Parade of Homes flyer that it is a dream of theirs to build homes that exceed industry standards, whenever flaws or damages were pointed out and they were notified of these issues, they claimed they were all standard industry practices and completion standards and fought me on every single item that needed to be corrected. Prodigy made me feel like they did not care about me as a customer and left me with the feeling that they only cared about how much money they could make off of me. Prodigy was working on 17 other homes during the construction phase of my home including their Parade home. They were doing that many homes with a very small staff. One only has to do the math to figure out what is going to happen in that scenario. 9 months after I moved into my home, Prodigy is still having to come back and fix issues on a routine basis. The first 4 months, it was a weekly event to come back and fix deficient items. Buyer beware with this builder is truly an understatement based on my experience. Attached are pictures of just a few of the 5 page list of punch list items that had to be addressed when Prodigy tried to claim my house was complete. I had to stand my ground to get them to correct any of them and I am still having to demand some items be corrected 9 months later. The experience has been almost entirely negative for me and I am very concerned about my resale value and the cost of keeping up a home after the warranty period expires that has so many deficient items.

We are so glad we chose Prodigy Homes to build our new home. Outstanding quality and workmanship are evident throughout the house. We chose the Diamond Package and the finishes are just beautiful. Jason and Jasmine are very professional and organized. A true joy to work with - they were on top of the project and kept us informed throughout the process. We love our new Prodigy Home!!
