Phinney Ridge Painting is a full service painting company specializing in residential, Interior and Exterior painting as well as Home Maintenance. Our business is rooted in a set of core values centered on local sustainability and offering maximum value to our clients by doing the job right the first time. Nik and Sam built their business together from the ground up. Best friends and teammates since their freshman year at Capital High School, Nik Palladino and Sam Bennett-Cumming met at football practice, where Sam enjoyed repeatedly smashing Nik into the ground during plank drills (they will be happy to tell you the story). They now focus their attention and competitive energy on striving to best serve their customers, employees, and the community. Together they hope to build a different kind of home services company with Phinney Ridge Painting.

Phinney Ridge Painting put their magic touch on my house and garage. When there were glitches, as things happen, they worked to get them right. The time, patience and effort were all worth it. They really have a personal touch; from the Owners, Managers/Supervisors, and the teams that worked on my house and garage. Top notch! The painting Mgr. Our house was painted in May, 2023, and it was a a very good experience. A few hiccups happened, but with a little interaction things went very well. But by the end of the summer blisters appeared on both dark trim and light body color mostly on east sides of house and garage. After a few back and forth discussions PRP's response was "It is also not uncommon to get some blistering here and there on lighter colored surfaces, and as long as the blisters haven't cracked then the paint we applied is still protecting the surfaces. Blisters alone ARE NOT WARRANTY ITEMS and are only functional issues when the crack." Well, none have cracked, but all I can say is it is hard to believe that a house could have blisters all over and PRP says it's on the owner to deal with it. Even if hundreds?

Our 1910 farmhouse style house had been in need of a paint job since we moved into it in 1997. Parts of it were so bad we were thinking of residing it. When Sam, the manager came to take a look, he said, “you don’t need to reside, the cedar siding is still good, it’s just the paint failing.” He made me feel comfortable that we could do a quality restoration & maintain the historic character of our home, so we hired Phinney Ridge to do the job! The whole project went incredibly smoothly & everyone was so nice to deal with. They had endless patience for my constant asking, “can u sand this better, can you fill in the nail holes on these boards, etc, etc.” (I can be a pain in the butt, because I have a definite vision for the house & everyone listened to my daily requests & happily completed all of them). The carpentry crew, led by Iggy, did very precise repair work, and the painting crew led by Luis E. Was equally meticulous. The finished product turned out way better then I could have imagined & we are thrilled with the job, from start to finish!!!! We HIGHLY recommend them

I really can't say enough good things about the owner, Nik. He has so much passion for his trade, company and employees that it's truly inspiring. I met so many different painting/exterior companies before I met Nik and he completely blew away the competition with his level of knowledge as well as his honesty, integrity and likability. If you're considering painting your house, do yourself a favor and consider this company. I'm a much more informed homeowner and customer having met Nik and his company is the real deal.

Phinney Ridge Painting helped us renew the exterior of our Fremont Craftsman for its next 100 years. It needed carpentry in eaves and trim, new gutters, and careful prep, not just the paint itself. Managing multiple sub-contractors well is one of their strengths. Everyone on the team was great to work with. In a very busy summer, our turn for paint came up in October, and they dodged cold showers to get us done. A crew just came out (in May 2021) to do any touch-ups, and I was impressed with the thoroughness of their inspection, and the little details they attended to. Every time I look at our house in it's fresh new colors, I get a lift.

Every person working at this company from the general manager, the carpentry manager, the carpenters and the painters are all top notch. We've worked with many general contractors and painters and their team is simply the best. No paint got where it shouldn't! Their front-end customer management is friendly and professional. The painters get the job done with care and efficiency. They do get very busy, so it is wise to book well in advance and check in from time to time.
