Whether it was improving the architectural designs, choosing materials and fixtures, or guiding us through furniture and decor, Purity Design was paramount in us building the custom home of our dreams. Sydney took the time to truly understand our style and our budget, and designed us a home that exceeded all of our expectations. Two years after completion, life is taking us in a different direction and we are relocating. We were amazed with how quickly the house sold, and were humbled and flattered with the amazing feedback we consistently got from realtors and potential buyers. Ours is a one of a kind, custom home indeed, and all because of Purity Design and Sydney’s amazing vision.

Supremely talented team headed by Sydney,extremely patient as our 1st meeting lasted for just over 3 hours.open to new ideas and client preferences though very firm on the overall direction and vision. I was not very satisfied with the exterior design of my house previously done by another guy, she even helped me to change the entire look of the house with the same floor plan!! Five stars....Highly recommended!!

We started our new home construction in November of 2015 and it didn't take me long to figure out that I was in way over my head. There are so many choices and decisions to make on the design of the exterior and interior that I was overwhelmed and fearful that I would somehow make all the wrong decisions. Then I found Sydney at Purity Designs. I was drawn to all of her past work, loving everything that I saw on her houzz and Instagram feed. It also was fantastic that she was close by so that I could connect with her easily when I needed to. Sydney has worked to create a beautiful home for my family. All of the touches that she added to the home, that I would have never come up with, are breathtaking. Purity Designs not only selected the paint, floors, cabinetry, lighting, and so much more, they also helped coordinate my builder, his trades, new trades that she brought to the table, and me so that the beautiful home that she had envisioned became reality. Her team is now helping to select furniture and will stage the home before we move in so that we walk in to a masterpiece. I honestly don't know what I would have done without Sydney and her team at Purity Designs. All I know is that with their help my home is even more beautiful than I would have imagined and definitely more amazing than it would have been had I attempted to go it alone.

Purity Designs was the perfect match for me. The design ideas were exactly what I was looking for and it was so helpful to have someone to bounce idea's off as well as keep me focused on the plan decided. I love the outcome and the team at Purity was a joy to work with.

I felt I was really listened to. I have no design expertise and do not like picking all the "stuff" Glad to have had a job so well without much input from me. Sydney is a gentle soul with great listening skills - super to worlk with & she got on well with the trades

We renovated a downtown loft space and had no idea of where to start working in such open spaces. Sydney very quickly captured our style and helped us to create a very fresh, modern space but with a nod to the industrial rustic era in which the building was built. The results are awesome. Working with her and her team was wonderful and they made it an enjoyable process along the way.

Sydney was amazing to work with. She listened to what we were wanting and came back with a fantastic plan that we loved. She is very personable, knowledgeable and has an amazing eye for detail. Even though our project took longer than we had planned, she was very patient with us and always got back to any questions we had.

I deal with Sydney as a sales rep. Her good design sense is evident every time I have the pleasure of visiting her office. She is professional, talented, and capable. In my opinion, if you hire her to design your space, you will not be disappointed.

We recently downsized from a larger suburban home to a small strata in the city of Vancouver and hired Purity Designs to assist us with our renovations. Sydney and her associate Patti helped us determine a style that suited our family and that would accommodate our eclectic tastes -- We were looking for something clean, modern, yet warm and inviting. They spent countless hours helping my husband and I to choose colours, materials and to find suppliers that were incredibly accommodating. The direction they have provided has been invaluable to us in helping us to create a home we will enjoy for many years. They came up with ideas that complemented our taste and inspired a design that is far better than we would have imagined ourselves. We are still in the process of completing our renovation but would not hesitate to recommend Purity Designs to any of our friends.

Sydney worked long distance with us--from 4600 km. away. A lovely box arrived with all of her recommended fabric samples, tiles, and flooring as well as copious notes of how to arrange furniture, suggestions of lamps, furniture, even mirrors. It was like a party! Through email I've asked her several questions, and she has responded promptly and with great suggestions. This has been such a great design experience--we are thrilled with Sydney's creative work and her work ethic. We haven't photos yet (unless you include "before" shots :) as we are literally embarking on our renovation next week. Stay tuned.
