About Us

Mackin Architects is a custom residential architecture firm located in Westchester County, New York. Ralph R. Mackin, Jr. founded the firm in 1992 and over 25 years has developed a portfolio rich in custom designs, diverse in Architectural styles. Ralph and his team work closely with country, urban and seaside clients in Connecticut, New York, and surrounding areas. I really can’t say enough about how happy I am with the work that Ralph and his team put into the renovation of my home. My 25 year old house needed updating to make the space fit with modern living and expand the number of bedrooms for a big family. Mackin helped me understand the possibilities, offered me just enough options and the result was better than I could have ever imagined. The space works incredibly well and the high quality details are beautiful. Ralph was great in setting my expectations on the time to complete the project and helped me select a contractor who could deliver on time.

Ralph Mackin and his firm have an impeccable eye for detail, never let a detail go out of place and are a privilege to work with. I've decorated 2 houses that he had designed and am working on another and am constantly impressed at his sensitivity to site planning, his choice of materials and that no project ever looks the same. I recommend Ralph and his team without hesitation and look forward to working with them for years to come.
