About Us

Hi, I’m Beth Curtis. We are all made uniquely different, and our homes should reflect who we are. I love to help people get to the heart of who they are, and how they want to use the rooms in their house. Making rooms look great is wonderful, but making rooms that both work and look great is the best. I want to get to know you. What your likes, your needs, and your wants are, and put them into a plan for your home. The outcome of our time together is to create a home you love, and are happy to live in. My mission is to help you determine your style and work with you through the design phase to create a wonderful space for you. My goal is to create a home that gets to the heart of who you are and to be able to tell your story. That is what gets me excited and keeps me doing what I do.

Over the past year Beth has led me on a rewarding and fun journey decorating my home. On our first meeting I told her the general feeling I wanted in my home and she consistently made suggestions that fit with my ideas. I’ve never felt pressured to select anything she has suggested. I feel we’ve worked as a team all the way and I wish I had more rooms so we could collaborate some more.

Beth has been nothing short of professional! She was quick to respond when we sought her out. We were able to reviewing schedules to mutually agree upon a date and spoke on the phone to calibrate the scope of work and our project. Beth was on time, courteous, and spent ample time with us as we selected paint colors for our home. She has met with us again as we begin seeking lighting and furniture options and has been available as we send her piece ideas. We would highly recommend her for all of the great ideas she has, but, more importantly, how she integrates our ideas and makes them a reality.

Beth was great to work with. She was able to work with what I had (furniture, etc.) and also found new items to add (inexpensive items) that complimented the space. She knew I had a budget to keep in mind and helped stay within that by giving me different options that allowed me to decide if I wanted to go with something a little over my budget I could but did not have to. Other things she helped with: gallery wall for my stairway, hanging art work throughout, shelving for family photo wall, general thoughts and ideas on other areas of the house that I will work on updating eventually

Beth was fabulous to work with! We needed to remodel a small second bathroom. She listened closely to our needs and asked great questions about the style we were looking for. Most of her samples were spot on target. She took our feedback well and made great adjustments when needed. The project was well-coordinated. We love our new bath. It came in a little over budget, but was worth it.

Redesign 2 Shine coordinated complete interior remodel of 2300sqft ranch home. Came up with great ideas to open up areas. Suggested flooring types per area, selection of tile and fixtures for bathrooms, kitchen, colors, lighting, window treatments, etc... Most companies will do an adequate job but Redesign 2 Shine's strength is coming up with creative and tasteful recommendation(s) to enhance particular home they are working. I would tend to pick new but similar things to what I've had in past but they gently pushed me out of comfort zone and for that reason job ended up much better.

We decided to redecorate our split level ranch since there had been no updates for many years. We decided to use a designer who would help us retain the furniture/accessories we enjoyed and give us guidance on new options. Redesign 2 Shine fit the bill! Beth Curtis took into consideration our retired status and provided suggestions on how to maximize our budget. Our initial thought was to update a bedroom into a "den" for me since our children were in homes of their own. Once that room was done (beautifully) it escalated into redoing the entire house with new paint and several new pieces of furniture as well as custom window treatments and bedding. We also removed an aged screened in porch and built a new one that we will really enjoy this summer. Throughout the entire project, I appreciated Beth's honesty and knowledge as well as her consideration for our schedules. Her ability to picture how everything was fantastic...knowledge of color and dimension made all the difference. Her attitude was always pleasant and she was always willing to listen to my thoughts and ideas. I would recommend Redesign 2 Shine to anyone!!!!
