Rehme Steel Windows & Doors

I talked to Robert on the phone and he couldn't have been more helpful. We're planning on building a home with steel windows and he gave me great feedback and guidance on how to tackle this.

I was looking for a high end Steel Window Company, that will not only meet the high standards of the Luxury Custom Home market in Southern California that exceeds in quality of not only materials, but workmanship. After visiting a multitude of various steel window manufacturers, I found a couple of things interesting of Rehme Steel: 1) This product is made in America, by Americans, with American Steel. (A lot of other steel door and window manufacturers do it the old fashion way, cheap, which is import the product up from Mexico). Not the case here. 2) The quality control for each door/window goes through not one, but 4 quality check points, when going from building to building. So, for me, with over 40 years of experience not only in the window and door business, and also being a General Contractor in Orange County, Ca.,, it was a simple choice to add Rehme Steel Windows to our Family of suppliers, which we feel is a cut above the rest. Personally having toured a lot of other window manufacturers, (Marvin, Andersen, Jeld-wen, Fleetwood, and Weathershield to name a few), and personally watching the meticulous process of these windows being made are 2nd to none in this industry. I just go back to my favorite line, "just another 58 year old man doing this for 40 years, What could I know?" Well, I do know a a great product when I see one, that is a fact!

I have Rehme Doors and Windows in my home and my office and they are simply the best! They are serious quality and have a true sense and feeling of being handcrafted. In my opinion their product is the "Bow on The Box" for any project.

Our firm has enjoyed collaborating with Peter Rehme over the years. He is a true artisan and his products reflect his eye for detail and proportion. We specify his door and window systems often and are always impressed with the contribution they make to the overall feeling of the finished space. His doors and windows are extremely precise and his finishes meticulous, but there is still an artisinal quality to them. That is what sets Peter apart from the rest.

Rehme is a great product. When we got one of our shipments, one of the door frames was damaged on delivery. Did that hold us up? I thought it would but, NO! Rehme had a complete new unit to us in less that one week. I am pretty sure they stopped all production to get us taken care of.
