We hired RJZ to do a 2 story addition with an unfinished basement space in our home. The upstairs included a primary suite, a family room on the main level, and a basement space underneath. Though some hiccups occurred along the way, the project turned out beautiful. We went with Ryan because we knew he would stand by his word and his work, which is priceless when hiring a contractor. We are loving our increased space, and Ryan made sure that we were happy with the final product.

Ryan and his crew added a full addition to our house (2 bedrooms and a bathroom), as well as renovated our kitchen. We absolutely love the results and extra space! He worked with us to design areas that were functional and beautiful. He listened to our needs, was professional, responsive and hard working. He did not cut corners, doing everything by code. We would use him in the future and have referred him to many neighbors.

Ryan and his team finished our basement where we previously had just a totally unfinished area, and added a bathroom as well as a laundry room. The new space looks great, and Ryan and his team took the time to find out what we needed for the project and check back in with us. They kept us updated as they were working, and were timely. In all, I would recommend RJZ to someone looking to get some work done on their home, or a new basement remodel.

We have worked with Ryan's team for probably the last 10-12 years. They have completed multiple projects, including our master bath renovation, (the sinks were moved to other side of bathroom), soaking tub removed, awesome shower added into old tub spot, heated tile floors added, and they added a bigger closet for me with the use of a pocket door, also they fully finished our basement, added on a covered, screened in porch to an existing deck, which was also redone with Trex and stairway lighting, also kitchen counters, hard wood floors on 2 levels and some other projects I know I am forgetting. I always feel comfortable with his guys working in my home, and if we have any questions or a late wish to add to one of our projects, Ryan has always come through. He also provides lots of great ideas that we would not have thought off and he has pretty much remodeled our entire home. We used RJZ Home Improvements for two remodels in our home. The first project was two bathroom remodels, one just removing old fixtures and replacing with new and the second bathroom the fixtures (toilet, shower and sink) were moved to different locations within the room. Our second project was a kitchen remodel. We were impressed by the professional of the work team, the office staff and the owner of the business. We give them all outstanding (5 stars). Our project also cost us no more than what was estimated!

We would have given Ryan and his team four and a half stars but didn’t see any way to do that. We enjoyed having our renovations done with Ryan as he is professional and trustworthy and worked with us to deliver the design we were looking for. He was quick to answer any questions we had, working closely with us to deliver a quality renovation in both our basement and main level. We recommend him to our neighbors who were looking to have a bathroom remodel and would gladly recommend him to others, as well as use him and his team in any future renovations we may have. We are very happy with his work.

Ryan and his team did a phenomenal job on our screened in deck. Their constant communication, attention to detail, and timely project made this a breeze for us. They truly treat their projects as if they're working on their own homes. Ryan and his team at RJZ did a wonderful job on our second floor addition. Their professionalism and attention to detail were unmatched, and both Ryan and Amy were involved with every aspect (design, materials, and logistics). All of the guys that did the work were equally professional, respectful of our schedules, and became part of the family over the three months they worked on the project. The team made every effort to make sure we were 100% satisfied, and I would strongly recommend RJZ for any future project. We could not be more pleased that we chose RJZ Home Improvements for our kitchen renovation! We hired RJZ to completely re-do our kitchen by moving a load-bearing wall and installing new cabinets, countertops, backsplash, some appliances, exterior door, lighting and floor as well as replacing the floor, re-finishing dry wall and painting in our dining room. Ryan listened to our ideas, explained what could and could not be done, and made great suggestions. We asked for some unusual features (e.g., elevating the island) and our house posed some challenges (e.g., an expected slope to the kitchen floor). Ryan had the experience, expertise and ingenuity to satisfy our requests and the overcome the challenges. The RJZ tradesmen are expert craftsmen in their fields. They arrived on schedule every day, made sure they asked how we wanted certain details done and were extremely respective of our home. Amy, in the main office, was an absolute gem to work with—she managed the schedule, gave us regular updates, checked on our preferences, ensured that we understood nuances in the process and resolved every glitch (example: through no fault of RJZ, our quartz countertop delivered for the island was the wrong size.) We purchased our cabinets from the retailer RJZ recommended. The cabinets are beautiful and of superior quality inside and out. If you use this retailer, however, double check that the order is correct. The manufacturer delivered one cabinet in the wrong style and the retailer’s salesman (who we understand regularly works with RJZ) ordered a cabinet in the wrong size even though he personally measured the space. RJZ took it in stride and made our kitchen completely functional and beautiful so we could entertain during the holidays, then promptly finished the cabinet installation afterwards. RJZ completed a large pool house and deck project for our community. They took a broken, dilapidated eyesore of a building and turned it into a beautiful gathering place for the community. Every person I came into contact with at RJZ was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. I would absolutely hire RJZ again for all my renovation needs.

We had quite a bit of work done to our house this fall by RJZ. Finished basement, complete master bath redo as well as updating the cabinets and counters in our other bathrooms. We have a luxurious spa master bathroom. RJZ delivered on every item on our wish list. RJZ team of meticulous craftsmen attention to detail is undisputed. When our frameless shower was installed we were blown away. Every RJZ team member was courteous professional and took pride and time and performed meticulously to meet professional standards. We have trusted RJZ to do two major remodels in our home. First was the kitchen about 3 years ago and now the master bathroom. Ryan is very easy to work with on the planning and fulfillment of the projects. His estimates are specific and include deadlines for each piece of the project which he maintains throughout. His employees are pleasant and organized in carrying out their work, make sure they keep the areas of the project and those surrounding it (hallways, stairs, etc.) clean. Any questions we had along the way were promptly handled. Quality of work is excellent, deadlines and budget were adhered to.
