you may already know that it gets very hot in Texas and a backyard pool is a great retreat. Kyle presented a very thoughtful, simple yet elegant pool design that fits the architectural style of our new house and complimented it with perfect landscaping detail. We had McDaniel draw up design and cost plans for a pool and patio. We asked for a design that would mimic the pond and average on our property. Kyle met with us twice to look over the property, take notes of our ideas, and measure. We are happy with the designs and look forward to talking to the company more when we are ready to build

McDaniel Custom Design was hired to design my backyard, pool, patio, etc., and I couldn't have been happier with their work. Two things stick out: 1) Kyle (our designer) did an amazing job of designing what I'll call the Taj Mahal version, which included an incredibly luxurious version of the space with every option available. However, he built it in such a way that we could slowly peel off layers to fit our tastes and budgetary needs. This ability to customize your design after the fact is invaluable. 2) Personal touch was top notch. Kyle spent time getting to know me prior to the design. He wanted to know what my hobbies and interests were, and though I didn't realize it at the time, he was incorporating much of that into the design. Knowing that my chocolate lab would be in the pool, he made sure there were multiple benches and a beach entrance so she could get out if left unattended. Because I'm a rabid college football fan, MCD incorporated three "watching areas" into the design so my obsession with the sport wouldn't take away from family swim time. In my opinion, this personal touch makes all the difference. Kyle and MCD were a treat to work with, and I'd recommend their services to anyone interested in building their dream backyard.

Kyle is a superb designer and has the knowledge to implement any ideas his customers have. With his constant desire to acquire the best construction methods and products, no detail is overlooked when he presents his plans.
