Robbie and his wife Abigail were friendly, honest about timing expectations, clever about problem solving, and their work product is beautiful. They obviously take pride in their work and finish projects beautifully. My new kitchen counter and island are absolutely phenomenal. I would not hesitate to contact the Gils again for high quality, detailed work.

We had a custom wall/desk unit constructed by Abigail and Robbie that turned out wonderful. After giving them a basic sketch and dimensions as to what we wanted they custom designed and added finishing touches we are delighted with. The quality and functionality is exactly what we were looking for. We have a combination of a computer/desk work area along with storage and display areas that blends in perfectly with our furnishings. Gil Mill exceeded our expectations on so many levels. The two projects we requested them to complete in our home included a bar and renovation of our laundry room. With the bar they transformed an empty small space to a useful, beautiful piece of art that is now an additional area for friends and family to gather. The laundry room once an eye sore, has doubled our storage space and is now a wonderful sight and extension to our kitchen. We enjoy many of the compliments from our guests and love to share the story of how Robbie and Abigail accomplished what we did not think was possible in both cases. They have a gift to finding solutions to practical needs, while creating a unique look and character with every finishing detail. Their passion for the work and creativity was obvious from the first day we discussed the projects. They got as excited about the opportunity to improve the spaces as we did and seek to truly get to know your style. They further demonstrated their dedication with timely communication, reliability, and a "what ever it takes" approach. It was the icing on the cake when both projects were finished on time. We are currently looking at two additional projects in our home for Gil Mill to complete. It continues to be both a fun and gratifying process to work with them!

We've used Gil Mill for a couple different customized pieces: an Oak Butcher Block Kitchen Island and a reclaimed lumber mantle. Both pieces were reasonable priced, finished on the agreed upon delivery date and in tune with our needs. We've recommended them to several friends and they continue to exceed expectations.

Abigail & Robbie worked with us on designing a beautiful wardrobe for our tiny bedroom space. The final product reflects the high-quality, passion and thoughtfulness the Gils put into their work at every stage. They collaborated with us on designing a piece that fit our style as well as the style of the apartment. Abigail & Robbie always took the lead making recommendations at every step to ensure the finished product would make the most use of our space given our inventory of clothes & shoes, was within budget for the project and looked amazing in choosing colors & hardware.
