We recently worked with the David Roberts Architecture and Construction group to replace our detached garage. We worked directly with David. We were impressed with his very thorough process for developing our plan. First we discussed the problems that we were trying to solve with this new construction, and whether a new garage was even the best solution for us. We went through all the details of what features we might want. After presenting us with a number of options at different price points, his group developed a thorough week by week plan for our chosen design. We were able to continually provide input through weekly update meetings in which we were informed of progress. We are thoroughly delighted with the final result.

We are currently working on a project with Roberts Architects and Construction and are more than halfway through the construction phase. Our experience thus far has been exceptional. Since day one Dave Roberts has listened to our goals and helped us create a design that fulfilled our needs. Bringing his expertise to the design Dave added touches that I had not even thought to consider. We like many families have a budget. In the design phase budget was kept in mind and advise given every step of the way. Our construction began three months ago, leading the day to day work is Irv the Production Manager. I can honestly say Irv and all of Roberts team have great respect for our home, family and show extreme care with our pets. Looking forward to our project completion date I am already thinking about other home improvements. Because of their attention to detail, respectful and professional manner I will call Roberts again!

We engaged Dave Roberts and his team to complete the design process for a new rear porch/entry for our 1860's landmark historic home. We hired them as we have observed both their design and construction work around our neighborhood for many years and knew that they would have the design sensibility and attention to detail that would match our needs. We had some pretty detailed ideas already about what we wanted and they were very good at incorporating our ideas and adding their own. It was a very collaborative process. They were very skilled in creating documentation and then working through the landmark and other city approval processes. Construction proceeded pretty much on schedule and there were no surprises in terms of costs. We especially appreciated their attention to detail in the construction process. The result is an elegant rear porch that should last for generations. And all of the team members, Dave, Irv, Rod and Jesse were a pleasure to work with throughout the process. We will use them again and highly recommend them.

Dave Roberts and the Roberts Construction Group did a gut remodel of our 1926 coop unit in Lakeview. Dave is a brilliant architect and a great listener. He has a keen design sense. The finished product is beautiful. His subcontractors were outstanding. His own team did a great job with fixtures and carpentry. The end result is a harmonious blend of textures and color, modern in its amenities but with respect for the building's early 20th century roots.

The Roberts Construction team provided exemplary work and service for the duration of our construction project. The architectural plans allowed us various options from a budget and design perspective and also provided interesting design suggestions that we hadn't considered ourselves, and there was absolutely no pressure to choose the more expensive plans presented. The work was done on budget and on time with absolutely no problems or issues. Dave, Irv and Griffin and their team were all professional, gracious, respectful and responsive, and all of our questions and requests were handled in a prompt and helpful manner. And the work that was done (taking down some load-bearing walls and opening up the main floor, refinishing the floors, new kitchen backsplash) turned out beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We are thrilled with the results and would use Roberts Construction again in a heartbeat for any future projects! Very highly recommended!

Dave Roberts has keen architectural insight and did a fantastic job designing an addition / expansion to our mid-century modern home. Roberts has completed many previous projects in Chicagoland that we felt were consistent with the changes we wanted to make. Dave Roberts of Roberts Construction designed and built a very significant addition to our home in 1997. They have also performed several smaller projects around the house in the interim years, most recently installing heaters in all the gutters of our home. Dave is an extremely thoughtful architect with very helpful and creative ideas. To this day, I still marvel at the quality of his work and the ideas he put into the construction. We have been very pleased with his work. In addition, Dave is a terrific guy to work with, very approachable and someone who listens carefully to what you want.

Roberts Constructions put together architectural drawings for a potential construction project. They did an excellent job providing plans that met all of our needs. They were professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them.

We hired Roberts Construction to provide a small renovation from an office back into a bedroom for our son, and a much larger renovation for our kitchen and first floor. We hired Dave Roberts and his team because we were looking for someone to guide us through the entire process, from style choices to full construction -- and all within a pre-defined budget. The team was dedicated and thoughtful throughout the process, and we couldn't be happier with the final results!

Roberts built a screened in porch attached to the house. The project was a great success. Roberts did a great job and would use them again!
