Robert Romero's company, Del Sol construction recently remodeled four bathrooms and our upstairs living spaces which included an office and three bedrooms. His company was extremely professional and timely. The craftsmanship was excellent and as was the attention to detail. We plan to use him again. His crew cleaned up daily and were respectful of our home. We would highly recommend Robert and his crew.

Robert completely gutted my small Balboa Peninsula home 5 ½ years ago. While we didn’t change the footprint of the existing house, we reconfigured the bathrooms and the kitchen and made the kitchen and living room an open wonderful space perfect for entertaining and my lifestyle. A couple of years later he redid the front patio, installed a new fence and pergola, added landscape lighting- exactly as I wanted to give my open floorplan even more entertaining area outside. Robert recently insulated and drywalled my garage, added cabinets, so I can actually get two cars in the garage and still have storage for my dinnerware, wine glasses etc for entertaining. I wouldn’t keep calling Robert when I decide to start a new project if I didn’t trust him and his crew to give me a fair price, while executing the plan to its fullest. I walk in my home every day and say, “I love my house”!!

Robert Romero’s company Del Sol Construction remodeled our home in 2009 / 2010. Robert’s team replaced our 20-year-old roof and completely remodeled our kitchen, family room, master bath, powder room, guest bathroom and den. This work included new kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, an entertainment unit, bookcases, fireplace mantel, staircase remodeling, wainscoting, granite and marble countertops, wood and travertine flooring, carpeting, interior doors, and related electrical and plumbing fixtures. We have also used his services to repair certain parts of our home that were water-damaged from unforeseen pinhole pipe leaks in 2012 and 2013. Robert and his crew take pride in performing quality craftsmanship with beautiful results. We found ourselves relying on his instincts, expertise and experience on numerous occasions when making remodeling decisions. Robert has a very pleasant personality, and each of his crew members are also pleasant, smiling and respectful. Robert always took the time to answer our numerous questions and concerns. It may sound basic, but one of Robert’s most important qualities is that he will show up to do the work on time each day. Negative stories about building contractors abound, especially in regard to showing up when promised and finishing the job. Our experience with Robert over the years has been that he showed up with his team first thing in the morning, discussed issues with us and then directed his team accordingly so the work proceeded as expected for the day or over the course of the next few days. This important quality is fundamental in ensuring goals are met so the client is fully aware of how a particular job is progressing. Robert also made sure all of the work was done to our satisfaction. This trait was something we truly valued in Robert. We could always count on him to do the work and do it well. Robert’s crew was also exceptional about making sure the work areas were cleaned up well at the end of each work day which we greatly appreciated. Del Sol has transformed out entire home, inside and out! Our home, has gone from a track home, to a custom home in one of Orange County's premier locations, Coto De Caza. I have used Del Sol Construction for four different remodeling jobs in various areas of the house. The most recent project added an outdoor room and converted a bedroom to a master closet. A lot of the workers that worked on the first project in 2005 are still with Del Sol Construction all these years later. Workers were timely, curteous, and always cleaned up after themselves. Del Sol Construction did a complete interior demolition and rebuild for me. It was done on time and on budget. They took initiative to protect me when the inevitable little surprises came up. The project manager used the phrase "I did it like this at my own house" a few times when I was unsure of a decision to make. Anything that I was not comfortable with was corrected without hesitation. The house is FANTASTIC! My family and I love it.
