Ron Cramm and Blue Ridge Post and Beam built a home for our family exceeded our expectations in comfort and design. Ron has a rare skill in leading the building process from siting the home location on the lot to designing flow of living in the house to creating comfortable living spaces and experiences. We love how our house sits on our lot. It highlights the mountain views and creates wonderful living spaces while also creating privacy where we need it. I think this skill is vastly underappreciated by the home builder. Ron did a great job of building a house that not only fit our lifestyle now but anticipates how our lifestyle will be in the future. We have a young active family and Ron built our house to encompass the hectic times of children and teenagers so they can have fun and enjoy their friends. Yet when the blink of the eye occurs and the nest is empty, the house will be perfect for us to share with our friends. Ron’s best work was working with my wife in creating the living spaces in and outside of the house. Mary Margaret wanted a specific feel with certain finishes on the walls and ceilings in the different areas of the house. Ron did a good job of making each space the right size, with the right mix of wood, drywall, boards, tile, and rock, so that each space had the intimacy and feel we were looking for. Ron did a wonderful job in creating a home specifically designed for our needs and tastes. Not a day goes by that we do not appreciate the warmth, comfort, and livability of the home Ron built for us.

Blue Ridge Post and Beam created the perfect mountain house for us! While we wanted classic style, we did not want the “mountain lodge” look for our primary home. Ron worked with us to create the perfect open spaces with post and beam, but with a clean architectural look. Blue Ridge Post and Beam was the perfect company to build the timber frame pavilion that we were looking for. It was built to the specifications that we outlined, the price quoted was the final price we paid, and it was built within the time frame that we originally talked about.
