North Haven Remodeling

In late 2019, North Haven updated our very awkward 1970's kitchen to become a very beautiful, user-friendly custom kitchen (see "Large Lodge Kitchen"). It is now the centerpiece of our home, with an island where our family naturally gathers. It was a great place to be on lockdown during the pandemic! We interviewed several remodeling contractors, but found that only North Haven had a "think outside the box" vision that greatly improved the layout of our kitchen. We love it. Ron had the vision for drastic changes to the layout within the space that we had, so that the space is much more functional and flowing now. Veronica and I collaborated really well to make the kitchen's style match my family's personality and our home. She painstakingly ordered many samples to locate the perfect slate backsplash tile, also suggesting local tile artist Debbie Dickinson who made the backsplash a beautiful artistic focal point. Veronica thought about many details I would not have even known to consider, so that our kitchen is user friendly right down to the USB charging ports in one of the cabinets. Roy was the skilled carpenter/"Jack of all trades" on the job. His perfectionistic tendencies resulted in quality work (even my husband who is quite skilled in carpentry thought so). Roy was also just a good guy to have around in the 2 months it took to complete the job. Having heard many horror stories about others' remodels, were also relieved that they completed the remodel within the budget, according to the previously agreed-upon contract.

DreamMaker totally remodeled two vintage 70's bathrooms beginning in late August of 2019. The project included removing two cast iron tubs, layers of wallpaper, and a ceiling to accommodate a new lighting system. Also replaced were flooring, counter tops, fixtures, and fans. Quartz counter tops now gleam in those rooms which reflect fine workmanship with much attention to detail. DreamMake personnel were professional, caring, and arrived on time each day. The project was completed in a timely manner and within cost bid. I am totally pleased with my DreamMaker experience.

From the time Dream Makers stepped into our home we knew they were the company to complete our kitchen remodel. The amount of care and every detail was completed perfect. They listen to what we wanted and always found a way to design it just like we wanted. Our kitchen is small and we now have so much more storage with the beautiful pull out drawers and redesigned pantry. It is everything I wanted and more! The team at Dream Maker were lovely to work with. I was far from their typical client and yet they were very patient as I worked through the exact style and design I wanted. The job was finished earlier than planned and the results are stunning! I am thrilled with our kitchen remodel. I would definitely work with them again on future projects.

We had our master bathroom remodeled last summer, and couldn't be happier with the job that was done by DreamMaker. We needed replacement of shower enclosure, floor, and additional storage space. Ron and Amanda were very creative with their suggestions, adding quality cabinetry for storage and replacing cabinet doors and drawer fronts to existing cabinets to match the new ones. All details were firmed up well in advance, including diagrams of all installation, our selection of tiles, flooring, and new fixtures. The installation was done while we were out of town and we came home to a lovely new bathroom.

Fantastic, wonderful, marvelous! By far the best experience in remodeling ever. DreamMakers is very professional, the project was completed on time and on budget. The quality of work is excellent and their customer service is top notch! We would use DeamMakers again and highly recommend them to anyone wanting an excellent experience from start to finish.

We hired DreamMaker to gut and remodel our kitchen and our family room fireplace. They also replaced the trim around the windows and baseboard in the family room, entry and powder room. Upon moving here in December of 2016 from Minnesota without knowing a soul, we had nobody to give us personal referrals. After doing some online homework we went for an initial meeting and interview with Ron and Veronica. That really was the only thing we could rely on to make a gut decision! It was the integrity we felt from them and the way Ron conducts his business that sealed the deal. Integrity is gold to us. Music to our ears was the fact that DreamMaker does a job start-to-finish!!! They don't do your job in piecemeal fashion like other contractors may---show up 3 days in a row and then be gone a week, etc. No, they are at your home from day one until the job is done. The second high note was that DreamMakers has their own contractors, so Ron knows exactly who is at your site as do you as the homeowner. This is great all the way around. The third high note was huge for us and particularly for me because I came from a background of high detail orientation. They create a page-by-page, note-by-note, detail-by-detail notebook of each aspect of the remodel from outlet choice and color to its height and placement, to paint colors and tile colors and complete schematics and all renders and so on. Each project detail is also completely listed in paragraph form describing what is to be done. This "project bible" as we called it, is left onsite for the contractors to refer to so there are no questions about what is to be done. So for all the aforementioned reasons, and the friendly and approachable manner of Ron and Veronica, who we would be working with as the designer, we decided to sign with DreamMaker. Veronica was EXCELLENT and brilliant to work with as a designer along the way. She nailed it so many times for us in making choices of products and finishes. In a process that can be overwhelming at times, she brought it together so nicely for us and had so many suggestions! Along the way DreamMaker gets together with you to make sure all is going well and in our case, we had to have design meetings on materials, etc. with Veronica who was such a huge positive and guiding force! Once the project started we were nothing but extremely pleased with the work crews. They showed up on time, were very polite, cleaned up after themselves, were friendly, did the job very well, and the finishing work was done expertly on the cabinets! Ron came over several times to check-in as did Veronica. The end result is beautiful and the compliments from family, friends and neighbors keep rolling in. We wouldn't hesitate a moment to recommend DreamMaker for any remodeling job large or small!

This was a complete master bathroom remodel. From our first visit to DreamMakers to the last day of job completion we were totally blown away by the level of knowledge and professionalism displayed by the entire DreamMaker team. The owner, Ron, and the designer, Veronica, were so full of helpful ideas and so easy to work with from beginning to end. Their professional installation team was equally helpful, provided great suggestions along the way and were incredibly skilled and perfectionists at their trade. Roy carried the brunt of the workload and performed magnificently. Jeremy was also a great asset and both were so pleasant to work with. We never would have come up with the fantastic end result without this team guiding us throughout the total project. We can't imagine anyone else that could compete with the total quality and commitment that this team delivers.

We are very pleased with the work DreamMakers did for us! They replaced our out-dated countertop with beautiful quartz slabs and installed marble tiles on the walls. Amanda was of great help with scheduling, logistics, and problem-solving. She answered all of our questions and was great on following up when she needed to find answers. We were especially impressed with the contractors who did the work - all were professional and thorough, and we were satisfied with the quality of their work. They even allowed us to watch them work and answered our questions. No big job is without its "surprises", however, and our uneven cabinets threw the entire project back a week or two. We tip our hats to Ron (owner of DreamMaker) who was present throughout the project and oversaw the crew who customized a solution to level them up before seating the quartz slabs. Ron even got his hands dirty putting on the finishing touches (grout, caulk, and clean up) - all in an effort to complete the project just 5 days before our family reunion!! These folks were great to work with and have an outstanding work ethic. We would recommend them highly.

My husband and I would highly recommend all of the staff and services at DreamMaker Bath and Kitchen in Bellingham! Ron was very quick to respond to my husband and came out for a consultation within days of our request. He helped us envision what our space could transform into to create an efficient and functional space! Amanda was wonderful to work with! She was kind and patient. She guided us with ease for all of our design decisions! Veronica was also great to work with as we often dropped by for design decisions. We would recommend DreamMaker to our friends and family!

My husband and I bought an older Bellingham condo about 18 months ago. We knew the master bathroom and dressing area would need remodeling. We were dealing with another company when DreamMaker Bath and Kitchen were recommended by a neighbor. We now have a beautiful new and modern tile shower and a dressing area of our dreams.
