I consulted with a few contractors before engaging with Mike and his team. Rose Gold is definitely fair with prices, responsible and committed to the work's timelines, and with good taste and even a penchant for detailed craftsmanship in all aspects. Mike has the knowledge of the best of the best in each trade, so you are safe with your home renovation. I could not be more satisfied! I can honestly recommend Mike and his team wholeheartedly.

Within 5 minutes of meeting Mike, I knew he'd be the right person for my project. I found him on Houzz and sent him a message. He responded quickly and we set up a time to meet and walk him through the project. Before finding Rose Gold Homes, I was starting to think it was hopeless. I was baffled at the challenges I was facing to secure a decent contractor. They were either too expensive, or not willing to do my desired changes for the whole home renovation I was planning. Mike listened to my concerns and offered great suggestions and alternative ideas. His employees and subcontractors were all great people to talk to. They were respectful and genuinely decent people. I absolutely love the transformation of my home and would definitely have Mike back for future projects.

Mike and team finsihed their wonderful work in our basement renovation and we are absolutley thrilled with the end result. The strengths of this team includ detailed custom workmanship, able to meet their time commitment even with new projects added during the reno and great suggestions throughout the entire process clearly stemming from experience. Although I could leave the review with only positive things to say I think it's important for future clients to be aware of the teams opportunities for growth (and I guarantee Mike is aware of these) which includ when working in an existing home it's important to minimize the negative effects of the renovation so that there is minimal clean-up. A tight fitting wall of plastic should have been secured in place, from floor to ceiling and on the sides so that the dust generated has minimal chance to negatively affect the items still in the home. Mike's team did their best to add plastic sheets but they were not tightly secured which resulted in a thick layer of dust on all items stored in our furnace room. Outside of this, I would suggest a daily checkin of the reno to ensure your requests are are being met as a couple of times the team made design decisions that I didn't agree on and their time could have been saved if signoff from the client occured first.

We were immensely pleased to hire Michael and his team to renovate our house at the recommendation of our designer. The pandemic posed many challenges to the project, which Michael tackled right away, and worked with us to resolved them. The outcome is beyond our expectations and we are very satisfied. Michael was a wonderful person to deal with. He provided us with assistance to find trades needed to complete the building of our home. He is responsive, courteous, genuinely cares and a hard worker. Michael and his colleagues were very professional and very personable. There was a lot of items to manage, as they virtually renovated the entire top two floors of our house!
