I've used Rusty Nail Design for over 7 years and they're one of the most creative woodworking design firms I've ever worked with. The ideas, owner Jason Clary came up with were so unique and have given my projects the impact I was looking for.

Extremely happy with Rusty Nail Design. They were a complete pleasure to work with on every level -- prompt, flexible, reasonably priced, and professional. They came up a with the perfect vision for new bunk beds in a guest room and wholly listened to my needs, likes and feedback, adjusting until I was happy. All the work took place on time, with regular communication and updates despite my not being in the local area as it's for a vacation home. We found Rusty Nail through a referral from our real estate broker and we couldn't be happier with how beautiful the end product turned out! Highly recommend.

Jason Clary is without question the most talented designer and woodworker I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I hired him with a recommendation from Montana Reclaimed Lumber to build a floor to ceiling enclosure for a 280 gallon salt water reef aquarium. We met at my home where I gave him a vague idea of what I had considered for the piece, told him I wanted to use reclaimed wood & where it needed to be located. He got all the specific weights and dimensions from the aquarium company. He had never done anything like this before, but when i returned from a three week trip the most beautiful curved wood hutch was waiting for me with the set up aquarium in it! Every detail of the purpose and product were carefully considered and the end result is magnificent! He has since made me a desk, bed, bedside tables, a storage hutch for the gym and an entertainment center! “I recommend him”, would be a complete understatement!

I have worked with Jason on numerous projects. He is a great guy and he definitely thinks outside the box. :) His craftsmanship and attention to detail is superior.

I had the opportunity to work with Jason Clary on 2 different design jobs at the Yellowstone Club in Wyoming. The clients and I were extremely impressed with his custom work building extremely high quality, unique beds. Not only was Jason a pleasure to work with and very accommodating, his work was exquisite. He has complete understanding of what he is doing and his vision is particularly amazing. Jason also provided services above and beyond his scope of work. We could not have had a successful installation of our design project without Jason Clary. I would recommend him and his work to everyone!

Jason at Rusty Nail Design designed and installed various design features during our remodel including: arts and crafts inspired bunk beds, several bath room vanities, several counter tops and shelves from reclaimed wood, a barn door for my bedroom door made from both reclaimed and new wood and you can't tell which is which. He designed and made several one-of-a-kind mirrors for three bathrooms, one made from scrap copper. It is amazing! Also Jason designed and made a built-in fly rod display box to display three bamboo fly rods. He designed entry hall cabinets with reclaimed gravel sifting wire as the inserts of the cabinet doors. We liked it so much, he designed and installed the same reclaimed gravel sifing wire as wainscott in our entry. His talent and creativity is off the charts! Not sure of the total cost of his work because some was paid by our contractor, but the price of items we contracted separately were very reasonable.

I've worked with Jason for 6 years, his work is amazing and I love photographing his work. Looking forward to photographing The Sun Ranch
