They did a $4000.00 refinish of our decks. No complaints about the workmanship or professionalism there. However, they said they would contact us in 12 months so we could arrange for “maintenance “ which would be a fraction of that price but should be done annually. They did not contact us in 12 months and failed to respond to numerous attempts by us to contact them to arrange the job. When they finally responded and asked for an estimate for the “maintenance “ sealing or whatever, the estimate was close to $400O.00 again., I am subtracting a fee for adding gates whic obviously would be new additional fees.When I asked for them to go over it again and try to save us some money,. it was basically the same . This is despite the fact that they did not even have access to upper decks that hardly get any sun. Which should have needed very little. Bottom line, we found someone else who is licensed, insured and bonded to do the job and his price is one third of their estimate. What they did to us ( or wanted to get away with )regarding the maintenance was the equivalent of a plumber coming to fix a stuffed up toilet and saying you need a repipe I would not recommend them!

I cannot say enough about the quality of work performed by Steve & Chris Craig and their personnel. They are consummate professionals who stand behind their work and their word. I have done business with them for over 7 years. During that time they have painted my house exterior twice and completed interior remodeling and repair projects. All this work has been done when they promised to do it and completed within the time frame promised. Their work quality is excellent. I have recommended highly them to anyone who inquires about having painting or construction work performed on their properties.

I would highly recommend Steve Craig Custom Painting & Construction. Over 40 kitchen cupboard doors removed in four hours, taken to their shop, sanded and caulked and painted with high quality paint on day two. Returned with doors on day three to reinstall. Never moved anything from the shelves or drawers. Reinstalled in six hours. Totally amazed at the speed and quality of their work.
